This is one of the best, most consistent places to get Mexican/South American food around White Plains. We usually take out from here instead of dining in as the restaurant is more middle of the road physically. We had chicken supreme burritos, guacamole and a...vegetarian dish and all were very good and huge portions. Consider sharing dishes and you will probably have enough food. The burrito was enough for two meals. They didn’t give us enough salsa or chips so maybe make mention if taking out from here.More

A great haapy hour with draft Mexican beers and Magaritas at the bar. The bar menu of appetezies and burgers were inexpensive and filling.

Never having been to Mexico, I can’t say it’s authentic but from the number of people from south of the border frequenting this place I dare say it appeals to native Mexicans. What is there not to like about well seasoned fresh ingredients served in...generous portions? Sometimes we have to resort to Google to understand menu items as the servers are not always able to translate well. But what comes out is always great and too much to eat. Guacamole, nachos, soups, enchiladas, burritos, entrees, quesadillas, breakfast items, whatever — all worth trying. This is the original which started in one storefront, expanded next door adding a bar and then spawned a satellite further south on Central Ave in Scarsdale. My only caveat is that the music could be lower in volume. Otherwise it is a go-to place for good food.More

We’ve been missing Mexican Food, so we came for lunch. The salsa was the best I’ve had. My food was tasty but didn’t come with sour cream or crema. I really missed it. My spouses chicken was very dry in the taco but the chicken...in the chimichanga was pronounced to be very good. $8.95 each for our lunch specials a good deal!!More

The food here is very good- and the prices are reasonable. But don't expect to have a quiet meal. The noise level can be excruciating unless it is almost empty. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, but sometimes a bit slow, and not all...are fluent in English. There's a Mariachi musician on weekends which adds to the noise level. It can get crowded- it isn't a large space, although it takes up two storefronts. Portions are large- and the food is done well. Although it is decorated, it has absolutely no atmosphere- not a place for a romantic date, or for sitting around for a long dinner. You just have to decide if you prefer outer peace or inner food.More

The food is fresh & made to order - not frozen. Mild or spicy - any way you like. Appearance is clean, staff are accommodating, and friendly. Looking forward to returning and bringing family & friends. Best local Mexican food around!

Large portions of fresh food. I recommend the Steak Burrito Supremo...nothing better in my opinion. Margaritas are also very reasonably priced which is a nice change from the overpriced drinks at the White Plains bars. It is a must stop for anyone in the White...Plains or Hartsdale area. Located near the TJ Maxx on central ave.More

I have been coming to this place since it was a little hole in the wall with 4-5 tables. They have expanded to the next storefront, set up a bar and always seem to be filled with people, if not Mexican, then certainly Latin. Having...never been to Mexico, I can only judge the authenticity of the food by the clientele. The portions are generous; the prices are very reasonable. I have tried a variety of dishes and am always pleased. My current favorites are their tacos, especially the carnitas (fried pork). My friends love the quesadillas and the fajitas. Today I saw many people enjoying large bowls of soup. Next time I will try that and the guacamole, now made fresh at the table.More

Small restaurant. Been here many times food is good. Tonight the waitress had an attitude everything was burdensome to her. I ordered Carnitas Poblanas tonight they were 50% meat and 50% fat. Tasty but had to pick the fat chunks out. I would recommend this...restaurant.More
