I enjoyed a pot of tea and a delicious slice of Kath's bakewell tart, as she baked another. This place is welcoming and somehow reassuring; I look forward to coming again and would recommend it highly.

This simple cafe serves delicious home-made food. All is freshly made and the two ladies are friendly and do everything; nothing too much trouble. Well worth a visit as it's the taste of childhood and very retro

Enjoyed a very tasty lunch of a bowl of home-made broccoli soup and beautifully baked fluffy cheese scone for £4.50. Set us up for the rest of the day's walking. Lovely little place.

An unassuming wooden chalet building but the most wonderful fresh food. We had home made tomato soup with a warm cheese scone. Heavenly.

Stopped here for a cream tea in the afternoon, the place is very cute and friendly. There are cushions on the benches and the cafe is tucked in on the side of a garden path, creating a nice and sunny atmosphere for a break.
