Had a party of 6 for dinner, we all had different dishes. the meat was the best I've had in years. we even got take out to go and bring home with us. the roast beef was out of this world. Wellsville,is a clean, cute little town. The Beef Haus is a big, spacious restaurant in what appears to be the heart of town. The staff was very pleasant. I ordered the Haddock cooked in Jack Daniels, it was delicious. For my side I ordered the...Mashed Potatoes. I had asked if the potatoes were instant. I was told they were not but upon tasting them I knew they were instant mashed potatoes. Thankfully, it was no problem to swap it out for a salad. The lemonade is not freshly squeezed and it taste like it. Although I would eat here again I would not order the mash or the lemonade unless thwy are improved upon.More

We have eaten in restaurants from Texas to Connecticut and 21 states in between. I have never been served more delicious beef, generous portions cooked to perfection and left me with not an inkling of disappointment. Can't wait to go back after two extremely delightful...meals. I loved the man carving in the front of the dining room. Maybe it was the customer who found him rather distant as he smiled, asked us about our meal and was delightful. We were fascinated by his carving skills and that meat was to die for!! The waitresses were friendly and we conversed before and after our meal. Very informative about the area as well as the history of the restaurant and people there. Loved the family atmosphere! Business people were eating there as well as families with children and couples like ourselves. It was a relaxed and comfortable eating experience. We returned today, November 2019 and not only had superb beef but the best broiled scallops we have ever had. Can't say enough positive about the food, service or atmosphere!! Great dinner, outside service, HUGE speciality salads made us so full we could barely split a whole dessert. A great sidewalk setting, attentive service and great food! Try it you’ll like it!

With 3 of us taking mom out for her 90th birthday dinner, the service and the food was excellent. All 4 of us enjoyed everything that we ordered. They even brought dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday to her. Btw this place is...very inexpensive for the quality of food we received. We will be back.More

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Beef Haus. Wonderful choices, delicious food, friendly service. The men in our group raved about the scallop dinner. The crab cake was also a favorite. Their burgers are awesome & don't miss out on their bloomin onion. Better...than anywhere else we've tried.There is only street parking. We parked around the corner & up the block a bit, but it was a very short & easy walk.More

My Fiancé and I were visiting the area after an appointment with a local jeweler to have our wedding rings designed. All that work left us famished! We went to The Beef Haus in Wellsville, NY for lunch. I love it when a restaurant wants...to know exactly how I want my burger cooked and then cooks it that way! Ordered the bayou burger which was fantastic. Service was friendly and quick. Everything we ordered was great and the atmosphere is awesome for a little town in NY. Kid friendly and a great place for a dinner meal.

Our family dined here during the Wellsville Balloon Rally. Please arrive early because the restaurant fills up quickly. Needless to say, there’s lots of choice beef topped with horseradish. This hit the spot and we will return for another round!

The atmosphere is dismal, food is not worth the stop. I live locally and have gone in with others because their company is more important than the meal. If you want good beef go to the Beef and Barrel in Olean or the Giant food...mart.More
