We have been travelling in France for about 5 months now, and although we don't eat out the whole time, this restaurant was by far the most beautiful and most unique one we have seen so fr. Typically local dishes, very good service, very good food, good wine, lovely setting.... Perfect! Very highly recommended.

Two of us ate dinner here in late October. The ambiance was great with a candelabra, stove and wooden chalet type feel. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful and the food excellent. We look forward to returning when we are in the area.

This was an excellent choice. We just wished we keep the language better so as to know what to order. Our fault they do have an English menu but did not know toll to late. The food is a true find.

Visited here several times this winter for lunch - always excellent. Great atmosphere. Excellent service and superb food. I am coeliac and they go the extra mile to make sure I am ok . No worries so far.

We booked to stay in the adjoining hotel for the night and reserved our table a month in advance for this special night ( essential ) At €105 per person we were not sure it was good value for money. However , it was! Each of the 6 courses was superb. Wine to suit was served with each course and... More

Delightful place. The menu has a good amount of choice. The restaurant is a beautiful building with an enormous open fire which they cook on. Staff are very helpful.

Pan-roasted fois gras with apples and morel mushrooms perfectly cooked and finished for $13 a la carte? Now I can leave France happy. We have had other wonderful experiences but on a cool Fall day in the Pyrennees there is something completely perfect about Gascon classics like Garbure served in a help-yourself tureen on wooden tables dressed with linen runners... The menu was different from the usual fare. Food was excellent & the service attentive even with a full restaurant. Local produce & wines. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant was attached to the hotel we were staying in, and what a find! We had a superb meal, one of the set menus, served well and efficiently in wonderful rustic surroundings. Wholeheartedly recommend. Not inexpensive, but overall good value.
