Best turkey I’ve ever had! The server recommended the turkey so I opted for the turkey club and it was delicious. The service was great and everyone there was super friendly. A must try! You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I were at the local farmers market and wanted to check out some eats in downtown. We went to the crystal restaurant. Staff were very friendly, I had deluxe burger wife had turkey club. My burger was great but my wife’s turkey...club (she had the junior version)was amazing. According to staff they go thru a few turkeys a day, so anything turkey is good choice.More

We have family in Watertown and we were invited here on Friday evening for supper—👍. The seven of us variously had the ham steak dinner, chicken salad sandwich, loaded fries (YES!), and turkey club sandwiches (with freshly sliced 1/4 inch turkey made daily, NOT lunch...meats). Our server, Jeannie, was the best and provided for every request with a smile and success. We were extra fortunate to invite family back the next day for breakfast before returning home. Maddie greeted us and instantly brought juices for five of us, took our orders, and we waddled out wit very fond memories of 2 scrambled eggs with link sausage; 3 pancakes with extra crispy bacon (by request); one bagel, egg, Swiss cheese, and bacon breakfast sandwich; and my fish—2 fried eggs over hard (huge and not burnt!), extra crispy bacon, and 2 slices of wheat toast, with mixed berry, strawberry, and grape jams, & loads of butter. Overall, better and better with every trip!!!More

This was first and last time we will ever go there. After seating and taking orders ( only 2 other tables were seated, and already eating) it took 45 mins to get the appetizer- after reminding the waiter who was very busy gossiping with his...fellow servers in the corner- told our lunch would be another 10 minutes and watching the table who came in after us get their meal, and the bar tender bring his own plate of food behind the bar. If you decide to go I will at least recommend you avoid the "lamb" gyro. It was gray, flavorless- possibly freezerburnt and not like any Lamb I have EVER seen. I mentioned that it was not good and I would not be eating it, he offered something else but honestly the whole experience put a sour taste in my mouth and I just wanted to leave. I also didn't have an hour to wait for another mediocre sandwich. generally when a customer is unhappy its usually comped on the bill, no we were charged. I asked about it and was told he would ask the cook, only to come out and say no, it won't be taken off the bill. I just wanted out of this establishment so I paid, I even tipped but I will 1000% share my awful experience with everyone who mentions this place. fool me once, shame on you but never again.More

Friendly with a reasonable menu and very good price point. We had Breakfast and the service was great and food outstanding. The place is 1920's with dark wood booths and tinplate ceiling and tile floor. There were some older people that talking loud (hard of...hearing) so noise was louder than we like. Recommend for it is an experience.More

We had lunch there with our son, he said his Ruben sandwich was good, and our beer was cold. The food is not creative, if you are vegetarian there is nothing here for you to eat, had a spinach salad, expected the traditional mustard vinaigrette...dressing, but the waitress looked at me like I had just asked for the moon. My salad was not that great, I had to stem my own spinach. My wife ordered mixed vegetables and green beans, she got cafeteria green beans and mixed vegetables!! Yuck! So the building is cute, the crowd is the same as when it first opened. This place could be amazing, with an updated menu, and more variety for non-carnivores. We will never eat there again.More

This place hasn't changed much in almost a hundred years. The tin ceiling, tiled floors, and lovely woodwork are right out of the 1920's. It is like entering a time machine. That is what makes this place special. The food is good home cooking, very...reasonably priced. And the service is always friendly, and usually timely, Everyone should eat here at least once, if only for the wonderful feeling of history. It is unique.More

My wife and two kids went for a late breakfast/ early lunch on a whim and tried The Crystal Restaurant. It is in a really cool older building and it still looks like the photos from when it opened in the 1920s. The food was...great, I had eggs, sausage and hash browns. All were done very well and tasted good. My wife had the veggie omelet and loved it. My daughter had the chocolate chip pancakes and ate all of it. (They were bigger then we thought but she loved it!) My infant son ate apple sauce and milk and was kinda fussy most of the time. They staff was great about it and talked to him as they walked by and had no issue with us holding him and walking in circles by the bar. This place was a great time and the staff was really friendly and you could tell that they worked well together. We will be going back for dinner soon.More

We went for the rave reviews of “Tom and jerry” drink. The bar was VERY limited and they stopped serving this drink because it’s only served for a limited time over the holiday we were told. Food was cold on the inside (I ordered chicken...parm) and microwaved. Spaghetti sauce was the inexpensive canned sauce, with no olive oil available to try to help the awful flavor. Salad it was served with was delivered with brown pieces of lettuce... additionally we ordered the “homemade Mac n cheese “ as an appetizer which again was cold in the center of the plate and noodles were squishy like it had been made earlier that week and reheated. They were “out” of most everything on the menu and with the 4 other adults I dined with, none of us would ever return!!! Awful food& experience!!!More

We decided to stop for breakfast before church to enjoy some family time and this was our first visit to the Restaurant. Our eggs and toast took 55 min before we received our food and there were only 4 other tables when we placed our...order. In addtion I had to ask a server to check on our order. However, when the food arrived it was good and the server was polite & prices are very reasonable. The reason for 3 stars is we were not advised to seat ourself by the host so we just stood there until I asked if we should seat ourselves, our eggs took almost 1 hour and we missed church. If we return we will just make sure we aren't pressed for time.More

If you haven’t been for a Tom & Jerry you need to stop what you are doing and march immediately to the Crystal. Amaretto Tom and Jerry is Ahhhhhmazing. I never liked the ones with bourbon etc. but Amaretto wins hands down. Baileys might also...be good. This is a tradition here in Watertown so if you are new. GooooooMore
