We were a group of 6 people and were somewhat disappointed in the restaurant expecting more judging on prior ratings. The set menu was ok but the lamb was tough.

Had the voice of al la carte or table d,hours. We chose the set menu salad starter lamb or fish and banana flambé. Lamb a little tough and fatty but the rest of the food was great. Great friendly service and good atmosphere so recommended.
Unique setting on a sugar estate surrounded by vintage cars and even a Cessna Aircraft. The food was lovingly prepared and served with typical Mauritian charm and friendliness. A "must go to place" on the island!
We had lunch at Chez Tante Athalie: Wow! Real, authentic Mauritian food, in a fantastic set-up surrounded by vintage cars, sugar-cane fields, grand trees, birds and wonderful service.

This is a great lunch spot overlooking the owner's classic car collection. The set menu was traditional Mauritian fare, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is very attentive and friendly. Our favourite lunch we had during our 10 days in Mauritius!
