Cleanest hole in the wall we've found yet

Stopped here for a couple drinks on our way to North Creek on a Saturday afternoon. The place is small but incredibly clean from top to bottom and has a good amount of parking. They have a full bar and offer food but we didn't...have any and there are 3 TVs including one for Quick Draw. Our bartender, Anna, was very nice, easy to talk to but not overbearing. The Mexican place next door is closed (hopefully only temporarily) bit it's a cool little bar that's worth checking out.More

You come here for good drinks,

You come here for good drinks, great bartender, and to experience a small local bar that’s been around since 1837. If you’re looking for a hipster place this isn’t it. And that’s okay. Come and enjoy it!

Worst Mexican food I've ever had

The margaritas were delicious but skip the food. It was dry, burnt, and tasted terrible. What a disappointment! This is a pub worth stopping in for a drink though. Nice crowd, fun atmosphere.More

Awesome

All i have to say is that this place is way better than George Henry's. We were in warrensburg for a wedding and we went to some bars first we went to George Henrys and the service was so terrible we left and went to...Ashes. The wings here are amazing, crispy, and full of flavor.(unlike George Henrys) its not on main street but it was worth the little extra drive. 10 out of 10 fully recommend the outside with the fire pits if you have a large group like we did.More

After dinner drinks....

Went here on Christmas Eve for some after dinner drinks. Nice historical building and very friendly staff and locals, will definitely be back😀

Pub, Pool Table and Local Scene

Have been in a few times. Always an interesting scene at the bar with the locals - and always a good time. Real character. Regular bands listed on the sandwich sign outside. Accommodating and a good North Country dive.

Delightful Dive

Let me preface this by saying I am surely biased. Ashes was an oasis of adult beverages for me for many summers, and it will always put a smile on my face because of many great memories. Hard to choose a highlight, but if i...had to choose I have to mention the Saturday night karaoke. Nothing fancy, but a bar with real character and a long and interesting history!More
