Breakfast was decent although service was slow. Just two waitresses and a full house. We opted to sit at the counter and ended up enjoying conversation with some locals. Standard fare. Good conversation. Fair coffee. Not many options in this area this time of year.

Nice local spot for classic breakfast. Friendly service and old style booth and counter service. Great historical photos of Tupper Lake region cover the walls of this establishment.

The Swiss Kitchen has been a reasonably priced, go-to breakfast and lunch place for years. It's popular with locals and visitors alike and it is one of the few restaurants that opens at 5:30 AM on weekdays. It wasn't busy the Wednesday morning we visited and our food arrived quickly. The eggs were cooked as ordered and the bacon crispy.... More

This is a great option in the area for breakfast. But it tends to get really busy even at 7am on a weekend. The food tastes good and is rightly priced. I would recommend ordering take out ( at least 1 hr ahead) if you want to avoid waiting

This is a good breakfast spot. Fresh coffee, eggs, omelettes and bread. Good pancakes. Basic and not fancy but good. Service is quick and lively.

The is a local classic. Nothing fancy but we had a fine lunch. Great burgers tasted fresh like something you'd make yourself. Good selection. Homemade fries were limp and disappointing - go for the frozen.

We kind of stumbled upon this diner and I am so glad we did! they were short staffed but you would never have known. It seems to be a place for locals. The homefries were some of the best we've ever had. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Large portions. Can't wait to go back and have some more homefries.

We were hoping to find a great diner on our way home from Placid. We stumbled upon The Swiss Kitchen/Reandeau's Restaurant and it was just what we were looking for. Our server was great. All our breakfasts were hot and cooked perfectly We had fried over hard with hash browns and bacon, oatmeal, pancakes, a omelet with cheddar, bacon and... More
