The Inn has a lot of room options. You can stay in the Victorian mansion (more of a B&B vibe) or in some of their more update options. We stayed in the Edgewood and were very comfortable. A balcony with a view of Cayuga lake,...More

Mother's Day buffet. $50. Per person. An absolute disgrace for what was offered. Terribly overpriced.

We had our wedding reception here September 2016 and I couldn't have been more impressed! We rented out the entire downstairs for a Saturday afternoon wedding reception. The Inn is absolutely beautiful! Lots of remodeling has taken place since it was sold last year, however...More

We came here for a first year anniversary dinner. The menu has completely changed for my last day. And I am afraid to say it was not quite as good as previously. The filet mignon which was a little oversalted and overdone. And a burger...More

Service flawless, steak so tender, and Carolers festively dressed, moving about the restaurant. In a cozy dining room with a few other diners..intimate and cozy! Most accommodating to person in wheelchair. Will return when reopens in Spring.

My family has been going to Taughannock for Thanksgiving for many years. We knew that there were new owners but we decided to give it a try. The food was excellent, very well prepared. However, there were a few problems. The wine list was quite...More

The food arrived stacked in a bowl like yesterday's leftovers. I had turkey with sides from a predetermined menu. It was colorless, save some cranberry watery lumps that leached into the blob of mashed white potatoes and stovetop stuffing and 2 small broccoli flowerets. All...More

We recently dined here on a whim for a mid-week romantic dinner. We hadn't been here in years, even though we live in the area, because of it's snobbish reputation. But we knew it had recently changed owners so we gave it a try. The...More

The accommodations had the feel of being a quaint B&B. For those who want a more modern hotel-type stay there is a ten-room facility on the campus as well. How do I know this? Because the owner, Carl Mazzacone, was kind enough to take us...More

The Inn at Taughannock formerly Taughannock Farms Inn is under NEW ownership as of 2016. A group of Los Angeles based film producers bought the iconic 143 year old Victorian Inn, with the goal of restoring the property and operating it as a luxury boutique hotel. The dining rooms have received a much-needed interior design upgrades, blending traditional influences with modern touches. Hosting the best views of Cayuga Lake, many will enjoy the quality made-to-order cuisine. Serving classical American food with Mediterranean influences, the owners have included several dishes at a price point anyone can afford.
