30 minute wait for a table to wait at the table for service, then coffee, then ordering. Then to receive lukewarm food, then to receive a check. Crowded tables. Potatoes were way over fried - almost tatertots. Eggs sandwich with jimmy dean sausage patty. Buffalo...chicken omelette - not the move - the 20 yo man didn’t finish it. Solid pass.More

Sat at counter and ordered pistachio ice cream with hot peanut butter sauce and whipped cream to go right before they closed close to 3 o’clock. Wouldn’t mind coming back for breakfast at the counter.

This is apparently the oldest place in Troy, and I can see why it’s still going strong. The food was fabulous! Their menu is full of wonderful variety, unique dishes, and old favorites. Pancakes were outstanding! We also enjoyed our milkshake. It’s a very charming...atmosphere. We did have to wait in line for about 40 minutes on a Saturday afternoon, but I felt it was worth it. So delicious!More

The omelette here to me was the star! I had a Buffalo Chicken omelette which I have never seen on a menu before. It was savory and delicious, this diner-style corner place is the oldest restaurant in Troy according to the sign. The service was...good, and it was comfortable and quick.More

Long serving diner in downtown Troy. Perhaps practice makes perfect. We had a great breakfast -- waffles, french toast, ommlettes -- cooked to perfection. We were lucky that it wasn't too busy the Saturday before Christmas so no wait for a table. I can imagine...that it gets busy and cramped some days, but that is part of the charm. Wait staff was efficient. Hard to call it a hidden gem when it has been right downtown for over 100 years, but it would be easy to overlook it from just the outside.More

I absolutely love this place. They have every breakfast food I've ever wanted and more, and their specials are always on point. The service is always fantastic. My only complaint is that there's always a line, but I don't care how long I have to...wait because I know it'll be worth it; there's a big reason it's always busy!More

Walked in at 11:15..full house..sat at counter..wait staff as we were sitting down gave us menus & asked what we wanted to drink. Husband ordered “ breakfast sandwich “ 2 fried eggs on toasted hard roll w/ 2 large slices of ham & Swiss cheese,...came w/ home fries ! Husband loved his sandwich..everything cooked to perfection..home fries are delicious! Very fresh cut potatoes..not leftovers..My French toast was scrumptious! Coffee refilled w/o having to signal to waiter...Can’t wait to go back for lunch !More

This is a small, but fun place with imaginative shakes, tasty breakfast and lunch choices. It is affordable and has a friendly young wait staff. We have been there several times and enjoyed it each time. The only caveat: service can be hit or miss...when they are busy, like on a Sunday morning. On our last Sunday visit, we were served coffee but the spoons, which we had to ask for, arrived much later. The entrees came out separately, so we politely waited until everyone in our party was finally served. The waitress came over with the portable bill machine and promptly left it with us while she ran to serve others. We needed to run 2 cards, so had to catch her later to actually finish paying the bill. Otherwise, the food is still good and our friends enjoyed their first visit to Manory's!More

You can’t go wrong at Manory’s! Troy’s oldest restaurant serves up delicious and affordable meals. The new ice cream window is awesome and even has dairy free options!

I do not know for sure but whoever said 20 years is way off I think it's more like between 80 and 105 years old. Nothing like 20 30 40 or even 50 years old
