Eddie’s menu includes traditional Italian fare though taste is often lacking. Staff is friendly and service is good. Restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday missing the important Sunday weekend option.
Very Good food and service. White tablecloth restaurant. Like everyone this one is suffering with lack of staff.
Eddies offers a nice selection of American food. The service is very friendly & prices are reasonable.
Our dinner was good with excellent service and a very nice ambience. Chicken Alfredo & Lasagna with meatballs were good choices.
Eddie’s is a nice place to stop in for some Italian food. Their menu includes the basics though I question their claim for homemade pasta. My shrimp marinara was heavy on the pepper so I won’t give it high marks. Wait staff is very good...and always attentive. Good wine selections put a bit pricey.More
We have not been to Eddie's in a few years. We like it a lot. It is beautiful inside. They offer out door seating as well. We chose inside. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. We sat near the fireplace and enjoyed a slide show...of the area. Prices are ok. But this night we found the food less than satisfying. French onion soup $7 was good. Side salad also good. I had pork roast with a cranberry sauce. It was dry and unappealing. $16. The 2x baked potato was just ok but looked so so. Vegees were not enjoy able. I wish it were a Sat when they offer prime rib. My wife said her eggplant Parmigian was just ok Will we go again? Yes. I hope it will be more satisfying next time.More
We visit Lake George once a year and sample many of the restaurants along 9N. Eddies is always a "go to" place when we want to get a good meal at a reasonable price.
Ticonderoga is a sleepy up-state town suffering, as most little towns in the country, from economic slow down. So, when you are visiting a place, you hope to find a good restaurant and Eddie’s is just that. It is an Italian place but there are...enough things on the menu-I thought - to be considered …just American. It has a good variety of meat and fish. I will say that I had the best onion soup here….I almost would hope a plane and go back for it!!! Ha! The restaurant is quaint…not a design star but just fine. They also have a very bar as you enter…enough space to be comfortable if you are going out for a drink. They also have an outdoor patio for dining. The service is frequently slow, but just relax and chill and you won’t even notice!More
We have always loved coming to Eddie's. Great food and great service. We are sure to make at least one visit each year we come to Lake George. It's worth the trip.
Great food and drinks after a day on the Lake. Staff was very friendly. Prices were good, definitely will eat there again.
Don’t be fooled by the name, “Eddies”. The name Eddies applies to the charm of the staff and the overall atmosphere. The quality of their signature prime rib and the charred salmon reminded us of Anastasia’s . Although Eddies is off Route 87 a little...bit, it’s well worth the extra 1/2 hour ride when passing Ticonderoga.More
Nice assortment of dishes (seafood, pasta, beef and more). Prime rib was yummy (ask for horseradish). Shrimp scampi was very tasty though not quite the "typical" preparation-- it was creamier and perhaps not as much garlic. Linguini with clam sauce (white) was enjoyed greatly. Strip...steak was nice. Bartender knows what he/she is doing... excellent dry manhattan and diet coke/rum/lime. Only challenge was that the waitress did not communicate her willingness to accommodate questions/concerns. For example, when one of our party told her that she couldn't eat gluten (ie. wheat + more) due to celiac disease... and we asked for the shrimp scampi ALONE (no pasta) and to have a baked potato on the side instead... the waitress said... but the scampi comes on pasta. I carefully explained that we understood that is how it NORMALLY comes but that typically the scampi is ladled on the pasta... so many times we had asked for JUST the scampi and a different side (ie potatoes), she seemed to get it. The waitress DID comply with everything we asked... but not with grace. Another example... we asked her which white wine by the glass was the driest and she said, "I don't drink wine so I don't know". No offer to ask the bartender or another staff member. We strongly suggested that when she put our drink order in, she could ask the bartender and bring us whichever they said was the driest. Very odd. Anyway, we did enjoy our dinner overall.More
When we are visiting in Ticonderoga every summer, we always eat dinner at Eddie's. It's a pleasant short drive from Ti on 9N and well worth it. Plenty of parking, daily specials, lots of pasta dishes and roast beef special on Saturdays. If the weather...is conducive, you c an dine outside on the large covered deck.. Service is fast and friendly, cocktails are delicious and portions are generous. The same folks have owned this restaurant for some time and have made few changes and I like it that way.More
Went here while camping with a huge group - 6 adults and 7 kids. They handled it just fine. And they were able to get all meals out at the same time!
