I took my friend out to lunch here for her birthday and we enjoyed a delicious meal. I asked my friend where she wanted to go and she requested this place. She had not been in a while. I also had not been in a while. We each had a lobster ravioli with scallop appetizer and she ordered the shrimp... More

Great food, local owners, always consistent, the best salad dressing. All meals come with salad. Don't forget the vegetable purée soup. None better

This is a local haunt that is a tad more upscale then the diner down the street. My family has been going here for Sunday lunch for more then a decade. The food is consistent, price is good; the best thing is the ambiance and service. Course as local yokels we may be biased. If you have time, it is... More

Went there on a late Sunday morning. Given the option to choose either breakfast or lunch. Chose 2 pannini sandwiches from the lunch menu. Only okay. The description on the menu sounded really good, but the execution left much to be desired. Turkey was a few slabs folded over on each other, with brie in between. The sliced beef with... More

In the past two months we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Water Wheel. Breakfast was good with tasty pancakes and a variety of egg dishes. I had a nice salad for lunch with mesculn greens, dried cranberries, cucumbers, walnuts, gorgonzola cheese and shrimp. Dinner however is another story. For appetizers we had french onion soup and breaded artichoke... More

My wife & I saw this restaurant along our route of travel. The name of the place caught our attention. Once inside we were treated to a high-ceiling-ed mountain lodge type of place. The lunch offerings were numerous and we had our fill as we all but "waddled" back to our car.

If you like eating fishy smelling fish, or leathery eggplant parmigiana this is the restaurant for you. Our first course was a vegetable soup.actually not bad once I added lots of grated cheese. When we complained about the salmon after the first bite, the young lady spoke to her manager . We were credited with half the charge and told... More

I have been coming here ritually for 6 years before the local HS hockey games, in the belief that good fortune will shine on the team, and it has. So therefore, I must come to the Waterwheel every Friday night during hockey season. Having said that, I am always pleased by the very attentive service and the well stocked bar.... More
