We have taken family and friends to Empire for lunches and dinners, and the beer is always the Star. Our daughter loves the mac and cheese, and they have a good variety of choices.

My husband and I stopped here for a nice lunch. While we did not try the brews we did order the three bean salad with chicken and the gumbo. The chicken was only seasoned with salt and pepper and very chewy and the three bean...More

Service was very friendly. Bar toward the back easy to get to. Attentive staff. Food selection ok, no real surprises, although it was all well put together with ample portions. Beer selection varied, and staff had excellent knowledge. Recommend Daily Grind, hint of coffee. I...More

As with most breweries, you are not going there just for food. Empire has an excellent selection of their own beer and each one was better than the next. The food was very good, but the beer was significantly better. There were three tables outside,...More

This was our first time in Syracuse. We were unfamiliar with the menu and the staff made recommendations and let us sample a few things so we didn't order drinks we didn't like. The staff was truly amazing!! Martinis were delicious!!!

This was our first visit. The brunch poutine was great. I ordered the breakfast taco special. The tacos were okay, nothing amazing. The beer and specialty were enjoyable. The decor was a good fit for the restaurant.

Interesting basement microbrewery. Seating is near windows in full view of the brewery equipment. Decent pub grub selection. Good pub crawl stop.

Had heard about this place and so decided to go and taste their beers. Flights are excellently priced and we tried a total of 12 beers. While some beers were not to our likes, some were very good and I found a couple to be...More

Hello! The game will definitely be playing on the bar TV's. If not, please ask the bartender to turn it on and they will be happy to help. Cheers! Hope to see you Friday.

Description
Empire Brewing Company is a contemporary downtown bar and grill with a brewery on the premises. Here, we aspire to provide customers with the best food and libation available by utilizing fresh locally sourced ingredients. Whether it is vegetables and herbs grown in our garden, hops grown by our brewer, locally raised grass-fed Angus beef, or original music performed by our friends, we give our patrons an experience that can only be had at Empire Brewing Company. The moderately priced and eclectic food menu is complemented by a diverse selection of hand-crafted ales and lagers. In addition to beer, Empire offers cocktails and a large selection of wine. The atmosphere is casual and festive. The brewing facility is housed in a glass-enclosed work area which provides a view of the massive copper and stainless steel brewing vessels. The food is prepared in a handsome open-performance kitchen allowing patrons visibility of the chef and his assistants. The interior decor highlights the industrial elements of the microbrewery, the drama of the performance kitchen, and the architectural nuances of the building. The understated design - featuring exposed brick walls, wood beams, and columns - pays homage to the brewing tradition and the pre-existing architecture. With clarity the aim and materials and ambient lighting the accent, a warm and inviting environment has been created for customers to enjoy the music, food, and beverages.
