The food is really good here. It's a southern Jamaican style type food. It's located in the downtown area of Syracuse. The people who works here are very nice also.

This is one place in Syracuse, New York you do not want to miss for home made cooking. I had the Goat Jerk with rice and veggies. The spice is hot but not real hot. They have milder seasoned dishes also. The husband and wife are the friendliest people you will ever meet. We went for lunch and it wasn't... More

This is what I think, the food is good but to me leaving out that taste of scotch bonnet pepper in the oxtails is a no-no. This is the essence of that authentic taste. I will return to try the curry goat. Overall I love the owner and her personality and the vibe of the place. Typical Jamaican Restaraunt, it... More

A small place near downtown and just a few blocks from the canal museum. Many interesting items on the menu, things we hadn't tried anywhere, so we ordered them. Wonderful! Large portions, good prices, extensive menu of Jamaican foods, helpful staff. We'll definitely return.

Ordered the curry chicken with a side of beans and rice . . . food was GREAT and they give you a TON for your money. Has a different feel to it then your average restaurant, cute atmosphere with the music and décor. Great for lunch on the go!

I have eaten twice at The Jamerican Diner and loved it both times. I had their Curry Goat special and a Jerk Burger. Both meals were delicious. It takes a couple of minutes to get your meal at lunch time, but, as I said, it's ...

I really enjoyed the spices they put in the food however, I gave it 4 stars because I am not a fan of so many green peppers. Overall, customer service is great!
