Tasty breakfasts for a great price. The owners are friendly & service is fast. Hits the spot on a cold winter morning.

It doesn't look like much, but they sure know how to cook! The prices are great and the servings are perfect. We got there on "corned beef night," and it we the best corned-beef and cabbage I've ever had. My husband got the burger, and it was fresh and juicy. I highly recommend this place, don't let the greasy atmosphere... More

Not the place if you want to eat healthy lunch. Haven't tried breakfast but lunch menu has mostly fried food choices or greasy hamburgers. Very good crispy french fries though and good soft serve and hard ice cream.

OK, the place looks like you landed in 1953 - and in a way you have! It goes back to a time when it was about good food at good prices. We stop in here each time we come up to Lake Pleasant. They can do eggs, pancakes, waffles and all your traditional not-so-good for you breakfast choices. Its OK,... More

My husband and I ride motorcycles all around our area and constantly find new restaurants to love. Such is our relationship with this one. Family-owned and run, the customers are made to feel like family as well. The food is very plentiful and good, and the prices are reasonable. Love it!!

We were leaf-peeping and stumbled on this restaurant. It was a bit old-fashioned and not at all fancy (maybe "diner" is a better word than "restaurant"), but it was bright and clean, so we decided to try it. The menu offered a good deal of variety (sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a few meals), and the staff were helpful and willing... More

Take a step back in time and order a burger or a grilled ham and cheese or even a tuna salad sandwich with chips. Friendly, efficient service. No frills.

Speculator tradition - we go here for soft serve ice cream. Walk here from town beach or town dock. Not sure I'd eat here as it looks pretty dated.

King of the Frosties is another diner of local fame that has been serving good, filling food for many decades. (I used to eat there when i worked in the woods north of the town.) The service is usually attentive, although sometimes you have to hunt down your waitress, as they have a lot of tables. But the food is... More
