We visited Northern Farmhouse Pasta on Sunday August 28th after an afternoon in Beacon. I cannot recommend the food highly enough. Everything we ordered from the broccoli rabe to the baked clams to the Genovese di polpo (squid) was both top-notch. If you're looking for...authentic homemade Italian cuisine made with lots of love, this is the place to go.More

Perhaps if your palate died during covid you could enjoy the flavors at this place. The chef has a heavy hand on the spice rack, actually ruining rather than enhancing the ingredients. This began immediately with the garlic bread which -- though temptingly doughy and...crusty -- sandwiched in mounds of garlic and, most likely, an even heavier dose of dehydrated garlic. The pasta alla Norma had far too much pepper, to the extent that I could hardly make out the eggplant flavor. My husband's branzino, he complained, had too much cilantro. I have to say that I did sample his fish and found the crispy skin and tender meat pleasant. The chopped salad, while abundant, clearly had been prepared the night before as the tomatoes tasted of refrigerator. On the plus side, the portions are abundant which would be appreciated by families.More

Had an appetizer of broccoli rabe; served with naan bread. Bread was SCORCHED. Had to break off edible pieces to eat with the dish. When I explained the problem (and the server could see the burn pieces that remained on the plate, she defended the...dish, the chef saying "that's how he makes it." THAT was not an appropriate response. This exchange was a huge turn off.More

By far our favorite dining place in Roscoe. Came here with three friends on a sunny day and ate on the porch ( a nice option with Covid still around!). Appetizers of a variety of topped flatbreads were yummy , as was the fresh chopped...salad , chock full of different lettuce, tomatoes, cukes, etc. The fresh trout with piccata sauce with broccolini on the side is a favorite. Delish ramen bowl, and rigatoni pasta dish. Flourless chocolate cake and coffee ended a wonderful lunch. Eggplant parmesan is the best we’ve ever had. Everything is freshly made, and service is friendly and efficient. A couple of minutes off the main drag of Roscoe, and also close to gorgeous hiking trails in the area.More

Fresh, Personable and Delicious! We live in New York City and have a place close by in Neversink. We always make a trip to Roscoe to visit this restaurant. Every single dish is made fresh and so full of flavor. We started this time with...Arrancini and Meatballs made with the freshest ingredients. Chicken Parm. Eggplant Parm. Chicken alla Vodka. Gnocchi- omg. Any Ramen Dish. The Desserts…. Not too sweet, just right. We were a party of 10 and they took such good care of all of us. Bob makes you feel like family. If you don’t stop and eat here, you are absolutely missing out. This is a must to stop if you’re in the vicinity, and I mean it’s worth the drive from anywhere.More

Stopped here on the way home from upstate and thought we'd give it a try based on TA reviews. Gnocchi with red sauce were tender but sauce was tasteless, basically a can of crushed tomatoes. Not worth $20. Scallops with linguine, sauce was better, scallops...were over cooked and rubbery. Again, $24 for entree with no salad or bread. Server did bring bread upon request but no butter. We support local eateries when we travel, and understand pricing post-covid but after spending the weekend in the finger lakes region where you can eat a delicious farm-to-table meal anywhere we honestly cannot recommend this spot.More

A couple of minutes beyond Roscoe’s main drag. Worth going the distance to eat scrumptious food - creatively prepared with super fresh ingredients. Had the chopped garden salad- loved the variety of lettuces in it,cucumbers and juicy tomatoes with Tuscan dressing. Main dish of eggplant...parm among best we tasted. Also yum trout in a delish sauce served over zucchini noodles. Side of linguini with freshly made tomato/ sauce also excellent. Rustic farmhouse with seating inside and on front porch. Definitely our favorite dining spot in Roscoe.More

Once again a favorite on the list to stop. Limited seating so be sure to call and make a reservation. The food never disappoints. Homemade pasta, ramen and meat dishes.

Stopped in for take-out. Vacationing from out of town, and owners went out of their way to accommodate me. The wild boar dish was outstanding. This is precisely the type of small business that deserves support during these difficult times. High quality food at a...reasonable price, hard working owners, and outstanding dine in (from what I observed) or take out experience. Highly recommended.More

This is a small rustic place, open for dinner 4 days a week. Closes around 9 pm on Saturday. Both pasta plates we had were very good particularly the wild boar tortellini my wife had. There is a limited choice of wines and beers. Not...everything is pasta ,though. Which is good if you worry about carbs. Service can be slow ( we waited for more than 30 minutes for our pasta, but it was busy and they told us before being seated that it would take long) in part because the food is prepared when ordered, not a bad thing.More
