We went for breakfast last Sunday. There was about a 15 minute wait to get in. It was well worth the wait. They have an entire page of different types of eggs benedict. I had mixed berry and banana stuffed french toast topped with whipped cream. It was out of this world. Sooo delicious. Would love to try it for... More

Rochester classic. A must go to at least once-we go regularly. This is a train car diner. A classic. The food is very good. Has some unique character for a diner menu. The wait staff was good. Atmosphere is pretty cool!!

I always stop here for lunch or breakfast when in Rochester . Prices have crept steadily higher though, so now it is a trendy occasional indulgence rather than a daily hangout for neighborhood folk. Not a good choice for the handicapped as there are steps and tight spaces . The parking lot is always full so don't go when you... More

We have eaten here many times over the years because we love this place. The menu is quite extensive for it's small size. The prices are reasonable and the food is consistently good. There are times when the line is out the door due to the popularity. We will return.

Walking into the Highland Park Diner was like a trip down memory lane when diners were THE place to eat. The food was superb and I dont think I have ever had onion rings like these. OMG. I had the Reuben which along with waffle fries and I topped off the meal with Baklava Cheesecake. Sinfully delicious.

The Highland Park Diner is a true diner - a converted railroad dining car. The coffee is strong the servings are large but get there early as seating is limited.

I don't normally think of a diner when I crave Fish and Chips, but I'm going to have to start doing so! The Friday special here is the best breaded Cod I have ever had. The portion size is massive and I left very full. I wanted to try one of their tempting desserts or fresh milkshakes, but I simply... More

Great food served by knowlegable staff in a really cool setting; an original train dining car! The Highland Diner serves breakfast all day, great burgers and sandwiches, old fashioned milkshakes and root beer floats! Good food at a fair price. One of Rochesters' true gems!

My husband and I love to go to the Cinema Theater, and we figured we'd try the Highland Diner since it's right across the street. We thought it could become our go-to spot whenever we go to the theater. My husband had the Friday special, the fish fry. It was very large and he liked the fish, but did not... More

Chicken Oscar Benedict?!? How could I pass that up? The hollandaise could have used a little lemon, but other than that it was just as good as I had hoped. I'll have to come back... there were at least half a dozen other Benedicts I want to try!

Thank Richard B
