We loved the food cooked fresh daily at this hidden gem of a restaurant! We have had stewed pork, stewed chicken and roasted pork, veggies too!! So yummy, reasonably priced!! Eat in or Take out!

Have not eaten Dominican food before. My daughter likes to be adventurous in restaurants she chooses. We all ordered something different. Chicken D'Mangu, Mofongo, Tropical Chicken, Tropical Pork. Meals came with rice, salad, and beans. The food didn't blow me away, but I would eat here again.

As soon as we entered D'Mangu the hubby made compliments regarding the interior. Most other Latino restaurants that we have visited in the area have been rather lackluster -- design wise. This place is bright, with artwork inspired by the land and people of the Dominican Republic. The table tops were glass covered and the dining chairs were solid and... More

First of all, being ignored when you walk in is unacceptable. Completely ignored for 10 minutes. Finally asked to be sat, rude waitress who spoke zero English sat us and we were ignored for another 20 minutes. No water. No waitress. Nothing. Finally we got a waitress and ate after sitting in this place without air conditioning on a 90... More

We were encouraged to try the buffet, so you can taste lots of different things. We were with missionaries visiting from the Dominican Republic, and they loved everything! There is also a menu for more variety. Bring a big appetite and you will still probably bring some home for later.

I do not get Caribbean food often, as I cook it at home. However, when I have particular cravings, hard to come by, I rely on D'Mangu to fulfill them. The food is authentic, you can opt for the express (buffet style offerings, always ready) or go to their menu for more sophisticated entrees and appetizers. We were at D'Mangu... More

Food just ok. The tostones were the best part. Staff very friendly. I Wish meat was better quality steak.

Until some friends mentioned this place we had no idea it even existed... We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night and it was pretty full (they don't take reservations). After 6pm there is no buffet so we ordered off the menu. The staff was hustling to serve all of the tables but even then the service was a... More

On our first visit to this restaurant, we just walked up to the takeout area and said, "We need help!" This is a family run business that takes great pride in their offerings and are willing to help you out, explaining the foods. We normally get the larger container of food to go which gives us a choice of red... More
