What a wonderful spot. Delicious food prepared with fresh ingredients and a very friendly staff. This is the restaurant you always hope you'll find when you're on the road.

Stopped for lunch recently on a recommendation from one of the staff at the Fenimore art museum. We would have never known of this place it is well hidden in a boat marina. The menu a bit on the pricey side, but the food was excellent. I had the chicken club sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries to... More

Well let's see. This was the only place open that you could get a decent steak in the town I was in but I opted for the fish and chips. With a long island iced tea. I figured the faster the food the less I would have to deal with the flies. I should have sat outside because then I... More

Arriving in late August for a college visit, we were expecting a beautiful lodge with a nice waterfront. Instead, we found a decrepit structure surrounded by feral cats. The waterfront? There's a "dock" made from rotting plywood and metal so feeble I wouldn't let my son walk on it the same time as me. The few "boats" are literally rusting... More

Tucked away in a old boatyard, this lakeside spot presents farm fresh, locally sourced American cuisine. The dining area is outside and they have a spectacular view of Canadarago Lake and older wooden boats. This is a must when when you are visiting the Cooperstown area.

The title says it all. The setting is nice, but that is the only positive aspect of this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I are local avid kayakers, we like to put in at the docks across the lake and make our way to the lake house for a bite to eat during our day. We love that we can kayak right up to the grounds easily and feel comfortable leaving them on the shoreline without them being bothered. One... More

When leaving this relic of an heavily cluttered, disorganized, rundown, giant dirty cat litter box scented establishment, my son said from the back seat, " this is where people who don't like food should go to eat." Coming through the front door I was appalled at the wretched scent of cat urine. The ladies room was like a hot dirty... More

The dining room food was fabulous, the service was really, really good. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. The food was memorable because it was unique, flavorful and different. I would return in a heartbeat if it was easier to get there. But it is worth the trip!

This is a family restaurant located in Richfield Springs. It has a comfortable, ramshackle quality. The portions are large if not exceptional. We've had lunch twice there. The fish and chips were ok. The burgers we had on our last visit were not the best we've had. Prices are midrange.
