Very nice 'make your own sandwich' menu, offering a wide variety of meats, breads, sauces and toppings. The first time I ever saw duck confit as a sandwich choice. Delicious, though I had to skip dinner that night, as I was still stuffed. There were also two very good soups on the menu - I had the iyster stew which... More

Gorgeous architecture greets you as you walk into this former church. The service was some of the best I have ever received with how attentive and wonderful they were. The food was great, and the cocktails were dreamy. Try the gooseberry! I will definitely return next time I am in Rhinebeck.

The green wrap we had was light and fresh, the service we received was indifferent. We had to ask for refills on the water and coffee. The waitress bought our bill when we were still finishing our coffee and came back four times waiting for us to pay the bill, Not sure why there was such a hurry for us... More

If you are in the Rhinebeck area, you must visit the Terrapin. We have celebrated a number of special Anniversaries (they are all special) here, and have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding (try the Pork Chop), the wine list complete, and the service impeccable. You can either select the main dining room or the bistro. My suggestion -... More

We have been wanting to go here for quite some time but always seem to come when it's crowded and on weekends you can easily wait 30 minutes or more for a table. There are two sides to this restaurant, one side is more formal and the bistro side, where there's a bar is more casual. We decided to try... More

Great calamari to start. The turkey sandwich and the burger were very good, especially the burger. The building was a church at one time, nice atmosphere,

We ate on the bistro side and enjoyed the duck quesadillas. My husband chicken was a little dry. I liked the caramel apple seasonal martini very much. I just can't get enough butternut squash soup. Theirs was thick and interesting spices. The service was great once we got our drinks.

Dinner for 4 mid-week was pricy. I was really surprised at the cost of dinners out in Rhinebeck. The restaurant was interesting as it's a converted church and was nicely decorated outside for fall/ Halloween. Service was good and our waiter's sense of humor matched ours, which made for a nice atmosphere. The food was good, but the four of... More
