If you want a place to eat in a Rhinebeck that is not fussy, has good food and is reasonable, Foster's is the place to go. During the summer their outdoor patio is lovely to eat at while watching the local flavor.

We only stopped in for drinks but it was definitely a nice place to stop into. It has a lot of history and we met some locals that told us a bit about the place. Drinks are cheap and atmosphere is cool.
The new owners have brought back the old menu and and have also brought back the old decor. Quite a welcome change.
