Very small and quaint inside so if you don't like bumping elbows find another place to eat! Very charming and service was good. We went on a Saturday about 10:30 am and were seated right away. Menu is small but covered lots of options. We ordered breakfast burritos, The Chris, omelets and some biscuits. We were not disappointed in the... More

This is my favorite restaurant in the Finger Lakes. The pancakes are fantastic. They just got voted the best diner in Upstate New York.

Took my sister to breakfast for her birthday! We had the Eggs Benedict and The Sean! Both were very tasteful! Coffee was fresh! Will definitely be back! Great service as well!

I was so excited they serve real corned beef hash which is becoming harder and harder to find. It was fantastic! The service was friendly and quick, the coffee was good and I'd visit again

I heard a lot about this place so I decided to stop for lunch. Got a seat right away. I ordered a hot turkey and gravy sandwich and got a chicken salad. Didn't say anything because the waitress was too interested in talking to one of the customers. So I just ate the sandwich, paid and left. The sandwich was... More

The breakfast at Penn Yan Diner is not to be missed! Omelets so fluffy they would float away if not for the generous fillings. Top it off with a bottomless cup of fresh brewed coffee and you're good to go!

Penn Yan Diner was a little hole in the wall, and I do mean little... We waited in line to be seated, and were lucky to snag a seat at the counter relatively quickly. The food took a while to be prepared, but it was worth the wait. The French toast I had was good and my husband enjoyed his... More

We love the Penn Yan Diner! The food was very good, reasonably priced and the cook is a great guy! We only ate breakfast, but really enjoyed the simple, comfort food menu. Also, the hashbrowns are particularly good.
