A wonderful meal in glorious surroundings. We had the fish dish zarzuela which though pricey was well worth the money. Unobtrusive service with an English speaking host. A treasure in beaucaire.

Really good lunch menu here. Food is good and the location is nice to see. Pity for the many flies, but this is countryside and it's OK.

I ran the menu through Google Translate the next day and here is what we had: Price fix Menu Corn salad , quail fillets fried , foie gras flakes, hazelnut sauce or Red mullet '' French fishing '' fried in olive oil , focaccia with violet artichokes and mozzarella or green asparagus, Bayonne ham cream, tile Parmesan Duckling filet ,... This restaurant is a bit difficult to find as it is in the countryside, but it was definitely worth the trip. The host was gracious and accommodating. His English was good and very helpful to understand the menu. The food was excellent with meats cooked to order and local vegetables chosen for freshness. I had excellent asparagus with mustard sauce... More

In spite of the language barrier, we managed to have one of the most delicious meals in Provence. We started with a light and lovely French version of a bruschetta, with fresh tomatoes & local ham. The flavor mix was simply sensational! The lamb was perfectly prepared with a marvelous sauce and the mixed grill of fish was the best... More

Pleasant surroundings, very friendly people. Food good, slightly quirky menu but all local produce and nicely cooked. Hit the spot for an evening meal without being overly fussy. Good value for money.

We had two evening meals here during a two week holiday. The €29 and €39 menus are both incredibly good value with imaginative dishes and superb cooking. The presentation is a cut above the rest and the personal service of the proprietor is attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

We had lunch (lunch menu, €17,5) on a friday in October 2014. The food was not bad but price/quality for the region rather expensive. We paid €45 for the lunch with 2 persons, 1/2L wine included. We ate outside next to the pool which was very nice and calm. The staff was friendly. We will not come again as we... More

The grounds of the auberge are gorgeous. It is situated just off the main road but in complete tranquility. Servers took time to explain the menu and each dish thoroughly. Highly attentive to diners, enjoyed sharing information, keen to make the dining experience enjoyable. We had issues finding availability at lunch in the area. Although we arrived towards the end... Try the brandade de morue if it's available. Other local dishes are all well prepared, though the "faux filet" was a bit disappointing. Hard to find location, as signage is minimal. Map/gps essential.
