The food was ok, but not very special. The grilled polvo was too burned, the fries were nice. The tuna was not abailable. Too bad we were the only guests on Saturdaynight. No music, so it felt a little aquard.

Simple but delicious dishes. Marvelous value for money and great service. The view is also very nice as you look out over the ocean

1. A great view towards the smaller beach and they have around 7 tables or so. 2. I had the grilled fish and it was pretty good. Prices are on the higher side for Cabo Verde. The local stores around half price. My fish plate...was 700 Escudos and it was still very good. Drinks range from 200+. 3. They have wifi that works pretty well. It was still slow though. 4. The service is pretty good. They are on top of stuff. 5. They do proper grilled meats with a griller outside. 6. There was a clean bathroom. 7. For our 3 days stay in Tarrafal we picked Sol e Luna Apartments, that are from the owner of Sol e Luna Restaurante. Dona Maurícia is an amazing woman that always tries to solve your problems as well as her daughter and all the staff...from the cafe. They multitask between the cafe, the apartments and the B&B, so... respect to them. The breakfast that we had in Sol e Luna was THE BEST during our 15 days stay in Cabo Verde. The food here is good and with resonable prices. About the apartments, because we couldn't find them on tripadvisor, we would like to say that they are clean, with nice decor and kitchen facilities, sometimes you can have problems with water, but you need to understand that in Cabo Verde and in Tarrafal, there's a problem with water supply, so just try to have an open mind, because they will do their best to fix the problem.More

It's one of the beach bars in Tarrafal and offers surprisingly well done food for a reasonable price. Vegetarians will also find some options and fish lovers will get what they deserve - perfectly seasoned and grilled. We ate there 4 times during our holidays...and never got dissapointed. We stayed in Sol e Luna's rooms for a week, so we had breakfast at Sol e Luna restaurant every morning. Nice food and on the beach, a very good way to start your day. Breakfast has nice fresh fruits, bread and an omelet, but...since the owner is very nice and flexible you can just ask if you want something else for breakfast and she will try to arrange it. Also her daughters (who speak very well English) are very welcoming and helpful. We had dinner and lunch a few times here as well; the menu has many fish dishes, but also vegetarian/vegan couscous (the only vegetarian/vegan dish on a menu on the whole island I think haha).More

We have been going for many years to spend the weekend in Tarrafal (President Beach), and Sol e Luna, always it has been our choice. Food is always good. Prices are medium/low, and quantity served, in surplus. No other beer than Strella, unfortunetely. We will...come back soon. I recommend their pastas.More
