We visited the restaurant with 5 friends, all different dishes (fish, pasta, meat). The food was great, the service was even better (very nice waiter!) and the restaurant looks very cosy.

Reasonably priced local dishes. The staff were friendly and service was good. Local food doesn't seem to cater well for vegetarians and this is one area where they could improve their menu if they cater to tourists.
The place is not easy to find and at first sight you wouldn't think that it's a really good restaurant. But as you enter the patio you can guess that this is maybe more than a try to trap tourists or locals: They don't serve...many dishes at Le Buzio, it's fresh stuff from the sea and the market - fine creole kitchen.More
Great place, great atmosphere and good service. The place is really delicious and with live music. The food (I've been there twice) at least for me, is not that good but the atmosphere repays that at all.
Le Buzio serves fresh local and european dishes at a very good price. We went twice and they worked with a daily changing menu. Everything we tried was good and fresh. A must do while in tarrafal.
Went here during our island tour. The restaurant is down a side street but there is a sign. My partner ordered a type of fish which came with vegetables and chips. As the vegetarian I asked for them to do a salad. The dishes came...quickly and the fish dish was fine. My salad had a tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce and strawberries plus cooked vegetables and rice. It was fine as a vegetarian dish in a country not really catering for a vegetarian. We also had a pudding, one orange tart and a piece chocolate cake. Both were tasty and filling although the orange tart was the best. Service was fine, friendly and there was a reasonable amount of English spoken.More
Nice restaurant in a nice location, with friendly staff, outdoor tables and live music, this place is definitely recommended for your vacation in Tarrafal. Just one remark: the menu' is limited - do not expecte a lot of choice! Good value for money!
Had dinner here on our first evening in Tarrafel as it was recommended but we were both very disappointed. The hand written menu had dishes crossed out & even the Italian Director had problems reading it. Chips were served cold. Asked for vegetables & were...given a very small salad instead. A lot of staff but all seemed disinterested. Perhaps they had been parting too much at the recent Festa!More
Very friendly people, the food is not very original, but nice and very fresh. Nice ambiance, and they also have a child's chair (which is a real treat on Santiago).
This restaurant is really nice, not far from the beach and really well managed. The service is excellent, the food very good for what I had (a massive omelet) and the setting is so appeasing: green everywhere, birds and so on.
