An amazing place. Pizza's are delicious however the fresh catch of the day is a delight. Tuna steak on a skewer and one day we had an amberjack - that was just awesome. This restaurant is in a small courtyard away from busy streets and...its just a small piece of heaven on earth. Francesco, the owner, has the time to have a friendly chat. no rush rush or as the locals say - no stress. And then you can have a cold limoncello to finish the evening... The entrance is at the other side of the block when you walk the main street. Cannot recommend this place more...More
We went to Alto Mira twice. The stone oven pizza was very tasty. We were served quickly and it was good value for money. I give only four stars because the waitresses (especially one of them) were not very friendly.
This restaurant, run by a dynamic Italian from Milan, is well worth a visit. When you walk through a simple doorway from the street you discover a charming courtyard decorated in blue and white, the tables with their checked blue and white tablecloths are welcoming....The pizzas are excellent. The fresh fish also. A sign on the wall encourages you to talk to each other as there is no WiFi - what a good initiative.More
One of my favourite restaurant in tarrafal,
The food is great, staff friendly the perfect place to relax at night and is not expensive :)
and you have a lot of choices, pizza, pasta also a really good fish.
A hidden restaurant in a lovely quiet courtyard. Enjoyed a tasty meal here. Mainly pizzas made in a proper pizza oven & a few fish dishes. Wine served by the glass which I appreciate & we both had tiramisu which was different from usual but...tasty. Staff all helpful & friendly. Thank you.More
Very nice people (especially when you bring a blond kid), the pizza's are ok, the fish is very fresh (but that's no exception on the island) but especially go for teh atmosphere. When you enter through the street, just keep on walking untill you're in...teh garden and you'll understand what I'm talking about.More
Pizzeria in Tarrafal where lots of toerists have a pizza. Service is ok but with no real interest in there guests. Pizza is good but nothing special.
Good place if you want something else to eat than Cabeverdian food.
