No matter what I Order, I get a great tasting meal, in a fabulous and charming atmosphere. Only down side is that it can get a little crowded , but just another testament to how good the food is.....

Just had a superb dining experience. Had the duck and oyster sliders appetizer which was unique and tasty. Entrees was the venison with root vegetables, cooked medium rare and to perfection. Finished off with marscapone cheesecake. Good selection of beers as well. Pricey but worth the visit.

We eat at The Brass Rail a couple of times a month and we are always happy with our experience here. We order a wide variety of entrees and everything is always fresh and delicious. I ordered the tuna Tatar appetizer and the mussels for my main course. Both dishes were incredible! My husband had the chopped salad and the... More

A neighborhood gem, friendly atmosphere, great food and a good wine list. The first time we ate there was for our son's engagement party, we returned several times. It is always a good experience and we will be back again.

The Brass Rail is one of my husband's favorite restaurants but we hadn't been there for a while. We went for an impromptu breakfast and enjoyed the food and attentive service. We'll be back.

Brass Rail is a restaurant food gem located near the Locust Valley Post Office. It's a cozy place for families and distinguished people that just want to get a bite at the bar with their dates. The food is excellent! You have to try their meat. It's so tender and flavorful. I guarantee you, you will be back!

Great selection of small plates and the daily specials are very reasonably priced as well. Food is fantastic. The only thing that I would watch out for is there are 2 different wine by the glass menus, one with $8-12 wines and the other with $12-20 and unless you know to ask they will only give you the higher priced... The restaurant is pleasant, decor attractive and staff welcoming. At lunchtime we only had soup which was very nice and quickly served. Prices seemed high, for instance, a rib eye steak would have cost $38. Not having it, I couldn't say if it was worth it so I leave that assessment for others. I like value for money when I... More

The Brass Rail is a terrific little place. Beautiful bar which you can dine at or an adjacent table. The back room is a bit more cozy, especially in the winter. Great burgers, salads and seafood. I have my favorites of course. Waitstaff is attentive and friendly. The only negative is that it can get a bit noisy when crowded.
