I cannot comment on the accommodations as we did not stay here, but at another sister property run by the same people--Foster + Supply--but we did host a 50th birthday dinner here last night and had a wonderful time. Our dinner for 19 people was...held in the Shandelee Dining Room and was set up for just our group with tables, comfy chairs, a bar, and shuffeboard and we had a BBQ buffet. I am always kind of leery of buffet meals, but this one was really fantastic--apps, dips, kale and couscous salads, ribs, herb-grilled chicken, and trout and pies and cookies for desset. The drinks were plentiful, the staff helpful, and a good time was had by all. A special shout-out to the captain for the evening, Emily, who was so easy to work with. The night was a lot of fun and everything we had hoped for!More

We stayed 15 min away at Kenoza Hall (sister property) but wanted to try something different for Brunch. The food was SO GOOD here - fun, casual menu and very reasonably priced. Adorable indoor dining option with a fireplace but go for the outdoor greenhouse!...Order your food to-go and take it across the parking lot to eat in the barn or heated greenhouse. In addition to it being warm, cozy and gorgeous with the flowers, this space is dog-friendly! Got some great pics of the space but the food was so good (esp the fries!) it was gone before we knew it!More

The Arnold House is top rate. Every dish made there is authentic and delicious. Have had several visits this fall and I look forward to going back. Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful staff, outstanding food & grounds!

We had a delicious dinner outside on the deck of the Arnold House Tavern. The margarita and Negroni were both skillfully made. We shared and thoroughly enjoyed an appetizer of smoked trout with toasts. Our main courses were ahi tuna with lemongrass noodles and roasted...local trout with charred corn and wild rice. A glass of Sancerre went perfectly with the latter. The service was leisurely and friendly without being overbearing. The wait staff all wore masks, and the tables were far enough apart for proper social distancing.More

The Arnold Lodge is a restaurant with a traditional country style and fireplace. It has plenty of parking, a pool table and bar area as well. We went there twice and found the food to be excellent. If you are going to have more than...one course eat very lightly during the day. We had a variety of items off the menu including fish and chips (light batter), chicken and pork (6 out of 5). The pork was excellent value and very succelent. The service is excellent, prompt, friendly and informed. As well as a good selection of wines the restaurant had a variety of cocktails on offer (many gin based). If you get there on a Thursday they also have a quiz night!More

Love this place. We didn;t have dinner, just a drink. We would have stayed for dinner if it was not overbooked. The dishes looked delicious.

Meet family here for lunch on a recent trip. We were familiar with Arnold House as a hotel but had never eaten here. We ate in the basement area dining room. It had a real old-fashioned ratskeller feel with wood paneling and a wood-burning stove....And even a jukebox and pool table. I think the pool was free. They offer bar seating or table seating. We sat at a table to expidite conversation but another couple was at the bar and a family was at another table. We started with the trout spread which I highly recommend. It was served cold and with bread and pickled onions; so good. They offer soft drinks and beer. We had draft beers. They have hyperlocal and regional choices. They seemed to have a full bar also. On Sunday they had a brunch menu with breakfast and lunch items. Some of us had waffles and an omelets; others had lunch; fish dinner and salad. All items were large portions and good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We had a good time eating and visiting. The grounds are also nice and you can walk around if you like. Definitely worth the visit. Call first to make sure they are open.More
