I was so excited to try this place out and I was not disappointed. This meal was amazing! The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, cozy and creative ( baby succulents in pasta strainers?!) Service was excellent, staff was very happy and pleasant. Chef Andrea puts a...lot of love into her cooking and it absolutely shows. We ordered the hummus appetizer, steak and salmon entrees - both cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The peanut butter pie may have been my favorite though (Former pastry chef and baker here 🙋‍♀️). The black coulis and peanut butter combination was heavenly and sure to be any pb+j lovers favorite! Definitely coming back on our next trip to Lake Placid!More

Best place in Lake Placid and frankly it’s not close. This is easily the best meal we’ve had here. Shrimp appetizer was amazing, the cauliflower dipping sauce was unbelievable and the duck was delicious. The best part of the meal was easily the dessert though-...that peanut butter pie was spectacular! 100% coming back here every time we visit.More

It’s a cool place. Nice vibe. It’s funky but high end. Reservations absolutely required and we had a tough time getting in. Menu is a bit limited. No chicken option, for example, so picky eaters might have a hard time. The meal was good but...not great. The burger was decent but not wow. The steak was good but same. Overall I don’t think I’d bother trying to get back in there. It was nice though.More

From the service to the decor to every morsel, this place deserves to be #1!!! We had a fabulous dinner. My husband had the duck and I had the pork chop. Great experience!

It’s hard to consistently deliver on being #1 on TA but our evening met our high expectations. All our choices were delicious: pork belly and cauliflower appetizers, bread plate (don’t miss this!), beef stroganoff over truffle mashed potato special, and vanilla gelato. Reservations required and...consider an early one because they ran out of the special early. Matt’s service was friendly and professional. All staff wearing masks and tables well-spaced. The ambience was retro including the music, relaxing and fun. Great job!More

We loved it ! Eclectic by design in many ways but well executed service and food! The venison Brunswick stew was so pleasantly seasoned and complemented by the creamy polenta . My friend had the peanut stew and enjoyed it

I ordered venison Brunswick stew. It was almost perfect. Exactly what I would cook at home. The seasoning was perfectly balanced. And grits were creamy and light at the same time. It was one of the best meal I ate for long time. Perfect comfort...food for cold winter. Dessert was Mississippi Mud Cake made of walnut shortbread layered with chocolate mousse. and cream cheese. I liked the fact it was not sweet at all but other than that, it was just okay. The shortbread had good texture but lack of nut flavor. The chocolate mousse was actually some gummy chocolate pudding. The dessert overall was solid but it needed a lot of improvement.More

My wife and I dined here on our last night in Lake Placid. We found the restaurant in a converted home. Tables were not too close, so you could have a relaxing dining experience. I opted for a half salad, the carrot and parsnip dip...(very tasty), and the Pork Chop paired with a bottle of Carménère red wine. I had sorbet for dessert. It was a fine meal, and server Chevonne was friendly and attentive.More
