We having been going to Lake Placid specifically staying at Mirror Lake Inn or renting house on lake for 20 years! Dancing Bears is the last few years a great and delicious restaurant with seating outside that has views of the lake and mountains!!!! The...More

There were 6 of us in Lake Placid to celebrate a birthday last weekend and after walking around town for a bit, we decided to grab a bite and some drinks at Dancing Bears Restaurant. One of our group had been there several years earlier...More
The service was fairly prompt but the overall quality of our meals was below par. The beef short ribs were tasteless as was the mashed potatoes/spinach combination. The fish and chips had a hard batter and the fish was dry. The fries were OK.

We ate here on a busy Friday night and were able to be accommodated with a party of 10. They have a wide variety to choose from on the menu and everyone was happy with their meal.
Dear atmo377, Thank you for your review and we are so happy we were able to accommodate you. We do frequently get large parties and always are happy to do whatever it takes to make there visit enjoyable. Thank you again.
This place is on the corner of Main Street, on the first floor of the High Peaks hotel complex. It is part of the High Peaks complex. Large bar on the first floor (very busy during ski season weekends); decent bar food and service. During...More
