The good: The food, the beer, the service if you get there before 6. The bad: The place has few tables so most people aren't there to be bar customers but are hanging around waiting for tables, so it makes for a crowded bar on the 1st floor for no reason. The bar on the second floor was running a special... We went at 5pm and seated right away. There are not a lot of tables so get there early. First the good part , beers were excellent ! Second the bad, the shepherds pie was just mashed potatoes with cheese on top. There was barely any meat or veggies. My husband ordered a burger which was good.

This is a really cool place but I was not impressed by the food, nor the service. We had to track down refills. I couldn't eat my brisket because it was so fatty. Great beer selection, might be a good bar scene but we won't be back.

Lots of locals and tourists .... and after meals it was ash to see why. A large variety of local beers. Three levels depending on your mood --- 21 and over on bottom level, mid level all ages, third level kid friendly

Go upstairs for food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great beer! We were seated immediately at 5pm (early dinner when skiing!) When we left there was a slight wait.

We are regulars when we head to ADKs. Three floors with 3 different feels makes this place great for all. Level one for the typical dark wood Irish pub feel, level two for more of a family restaurant and large outdoor deck, and level three for more of an intimate "cocktail hour" feel. The food is above average, and appropriately... More

Our family of 4 visited over the February break week for lunch. The food was great, and there were plenty of vegetarian choices! We enjoyed the pear and maple pizza (which was sweet and tasty), and the black bean burgers which came with fries. The beer was great. We really enjoyed our meal and drinks and would definitely recommend stopping... More

We were in Lake Placid with our kids and grandkids last week and ate at the Lake Placid Brewery twice. The food is good, the beer is delicious and the atmosphere is conducive to families. Can't wait to go back!

Great pub atmosphere and great choice of drinks from their brewery. Extremely busy every time we have been there. Food wasn't my favorite but have only ate there once.

The food was great! I recommend the ale french onion soup, so delicious! The service was okay. The staff wasn't very friendly.
