This is the closest halal restaurant to the beach. It's a to go place, very busy for obvious reasons. Dont waste your time on Ali baba or anywhere else. Order something atleast an hr before you know you want to eat. Grab the food, go sit in the park & eat. Food was very delicious. Do mention you dont want... More

Gyros and the lamb/beef combo over rice are delicious. The portions were perfect. I felt full and no leftovers.

I ordered lamp and beef gyro for 9 dollars and asked the guy if he could give me a cup of water...He refused to give me water claiming that cups costs him money!!! The gyro was very small and soggy...I regret going there. Please do yourself a favor and do not support this cheap business.

We went to this restaurant tonight and the food was so good, it felt like that familiar NYC flavor we're used to! Even cooler was they were just closing but were nice enough to take our order anyway. A really nice place!

No clue if the food is halal or not but I've had the same type of food in Manhattan/NJ with the same flavors. I had the shish kebab, it was more like a kofte than a shish but not a problem. I've had both, I enjoy both and I enjoyed this one. It's really street food so if you approach... More

They claim everything on their menu are halal but what's printed on their menu shows us otherwise. We walked away.

We ordered gyros and the one with the rice and meat. They just use store-bought bread for Gyros plus there's not enough food for the price you will pay. Not worth your money. If the price is on a lower side I'd give this take out restaurant a plus. This is the one located next to the arcade and across... More

I disagree with below poster. I too went to the restaurant portion on Canada street. Chicken Biryani, Butter chicken, pakora and chicken fingers were absolutely DELICIOUS. The biryani was served on a real plate. The other dishes were served on paper plates - but that didn't take away from the taste of the food. I don't mind eating on paper... More

Went to the Canada St location of same ownership. Worst dining experience ever. Wanted some Indian food for a nice dinner. Should have gone down the road to Tandoori Grill. Instead stupidly took the reco of my motel. Walked up to it and the place looked like fast food but when we saw nicely set tables inside we went for... More
