Not the most well run establishment but the food is above and beyond anything else in the immediate area. We eat early so encountered few crowds and the breakfast staff is the best. At other/later meals be prepared for the kitchen to be out of some items but trust that whatever you choose in it's place will be great. I... More

Delicious & filling breakfast options to get fueled up for ur day of hiking. French toast was great!! No biscuits left to try but bacon was fabulous side. Coffee was good but personally prefer something a bit stronger, taste was great though. Very friendly staff and got filled up pretty quickly but have option of taking to go as well.

My sister and I stopped here for a well deserved lunch after a 3 day backpacking experience. Food was fresh, wait staff friendly place was clean we dined alfresco on a pleasant sunny deck over looking a garden in the back.

Me and my kids hiked the near-by Cascade Mountain in the afternoon, and I'm still a little off-pissed when I read in the trail guides that Cascade is the easiest and most family-friendly of the High Peaks. For me, it was plenty challenging, and plenty rewarding when we reached the summit, When we got back to the car, and then... More

I've been here several times and have had a positive experience each time - one of the reasons we come back. However this time, the waiter was so uninterested and dismissive our experience was greatly diminished. Also, the food just was not well executed. Portions were very small. Ordered a side of potatoes for breakfast and may there were about... More

We stopped here for a late lunch before the trip back to NYC, and we are very glad that we did. The chicken club, chicken salad and meatloaf sandwiches are delicious. The Caesar with smoked trout dressing is huge and very shareably and a real treat. The only downside here is that they seemed understaffed. We waited quite a while... More

This chef is very talented; there are no two ways about it. My recent visit -- though I have eaten here several times before already -- was again delicious. I began with the gazpacho that was excellent. Bright, fresh, acidic flavors of toothy fresh vegetables, herbs in a fresh sweet tomato base. I could not get enough. I then improvised... More

Good food and wonderful service. Be sure to get a slice of pie, you won't be sorry. The only recommendation I have is to provide better outdoor seating.(Tables are small and cold metal chairs). But please don't let this stop you from a delicious meal.

We stopped in for a cup of coffee before settling into camp for the night. We ended up ordering Café Americano and getting molasses cookies. The cookies & drinks were fantastic and we were shocked by how little the total cost was. The gentleman that helped us was very friendly and shared a conversation with us while he prepared our...
