We had 2 lunches at the restaurant. Lovely setting, under palm trees with your feet in the sand. The beers are cold, fair selection of white wines and absolutely fresh seafood. On the second occasion they had a traditional Malagasy pork dish - absolutely delicious. Service is very laid back Island-style, but the waitresses have a fair command of English.... More

We were the only one in the restaurant and got cold ( even frozen ) starters . I couldn't understand what I was eating, although the menu said fish and the second dish supposed to be shrimp, it was a discussing pulp of unrecognized ingredients . The main course was even worse. This restaurant is one of the worst I... More

If you are looking for a quiet place in front of the sea to have a dinner, under a palm tree and thousands of stars go to Chez Loulou. No artificial lights will disturb you. Dishes are very simple but fine, the crew is kind.

We were here for lunch and had the fish and langoustine. Was very difficult to get the staff's attention. Food arrived after an hour, first course was lentil salad very nicely served, main course also visually attractive, though did not taste very fresh.

Excellent quality food. One of the rare options on the beach. Not open every night, so ask before going.

Excellent fresh fish, good value. Very friendly service and even some loungers in front of the dining area. Sunshades for those would be nice.

Fine white sand between our toes, a cool THB and a daily changing menu full of fresh local fish...our dinner at this restaurant was very nice. The staff is okay, the food is lovely, although it was the location that would bring us back here.

Made the 40 minute taxi ride just to go to this place. Got there too late for lunch but decided to stay for a drink and a swim at the beach. Bar didn't have any beer or tonic! It's possibly still the best restaurant on the beach as it is the ONLY restaurant on the beach. Very unimpressed.

The restaurant is at the center of the beach and offers free beach-beds if you eat. The food is excellent and the location difficult to beat. If you listen carefully you can just hear the loud-speakers from the Italian resort on the next beach.. a lot of people made the wrong choice! We spent a happy nine days here, if... More
