Not the best time of year to be eating off hotel or away from popular beach spots but a bit of end of season run down off a road side café. Everywhere suffering from long overdue power upgrades but that means long periods no light,...More

I stayed at the Kombo Beach hotel and decided to try one of the "local" restaurants, having read some of the reviews on Tripadvisor I was looking forward to having some Gambian food but was sadly disappointed. I found the food bland and tasteless, the...More

Food was Gambian staple, good for a light lunch or evening meal, cheap but reasonable. Depends what you want, but worth a try in my view. On the main road, so good for people watching!

Nice little restaurant serving more traditional Gambian food. Friendly staff and god food. Nice place to have a beer and watch the world go by as well.

Absolutely love this place. It was shut the first time we visited a couple of years back, so great to see it open last year as we had heard such good things. We ate there a few times and it's our favourite place. We enjoy...More

Another good local restaurant with simple dishes at the right price with fair service and smiling faces. Good chicken yassa and local "curry" dishes.

Livening up Kotu, this is a great outdoor spot to enjoy genuine Gambian food. The menu includes dishes from the Woloff, Mandinka, Fula, Serreh and Aku tribes. Our special Sunday buffet includes interesting dishes not normally found in restaurants. The Jola dance troup entertainment is really good fun.
