Moving my son into college found this little place. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

We were very upset when the bill came. We had asked for a veal dish and had chicken substituted without our knowledge. Yet, we were billed for veal. We also were not informed of the extra cost associated with certain salad dressings. All in all,...More
We were in town for our son's graduation. We choose to stay in Highland to avoid the very busy downtown New Paltz. Vigneto Cafe was highly recommended by the hotel desk clerk. There was a Town Street Festival going on which seemed to be very...More
We were staying in a Bed and Breakfast in Highland and did not want to go very far for dinner. This restaurant was suggested by our hosts. We did make reservations but the place was not busy on a Monday night, many area eating spots...More
Vigneto Cafe was a perfect stop on a cloudy day in Ulster County. The outside was inviting so we poked our heads in. Soft music played, tables were spaced well, lighting was right, plenty to see by and not glaringly bright. A big plus for...More
Great Ambiance - small but intimate- food is very good- nice variety of dishes service is very good and accommodating- (we didn't like the table they first sat us at and they were more than accommodating to change it)
So my friend and I ordered the stuffed clams...they were huge not like the littleneck ones...tasted like frozen dethawed Matlaws baked clams you'd buy from Shoprite!...also ordered the fried Zuchini sticks which were much better. ..I ordered "Pasta Amore" from the Hudson Valley Restaurant week...More
I have one friendly piece of advice for you: Stop being miserable and stop lying. Show more class. Obviously you don't belong in my restaurant.
Comfortable neighborhood Italian restaurant. Food is ok and service is adequate. Ordered veal parmigiana and the pasta was lukewarm. Noticed a woman sitting at a nearby table sent her dish back because her food was cold. Probably will not go back.
Walked into Highland, New York off the walkway on the Hudson bridge. We random stopped here for lunch. Very nice. Reasonable price for a great, fresh, grilled chicken salad. Service is good and not intrusive. Everything was clean and clean crisp. Great time.
Always good service, good food, and warm atmosphere makes Vigneto's a great place to eat anytime, but the wonderful music on Wednesdays makes it a special evening out!
