Peppercorns is a great place for a work lunch or or quick, relaxing bite. The restaurant is clean, the service is pleasant and the food was pretty good. Overall, no real complaints at all.

My husband and I came for our anniversary. We both had French onion soup, not the best we 've had. He had the steak which was over cooked. I had the linguine with white clam sauce which came in a very dark broth with no flavor and filled with a gritty sand taste, awful. I don't plan on coming back.
Peppercorns is attractively decorated for the holidays. My pork schnitzel was a disappointment. It was too well cooked and dry. It wasn't made to order and was probably sitting a while. I left half of it. The server was nice and the people I was with enjoyed their meals. I'd go back but would avoid the pork dish. I also... More
We found ourselves in Hicksville for a Memorial Service and happened upon Peppercorns afterwards. A lovely ambiance, wonderful service (shout out to our waitress H) and great food. Overall, a great ambiance with wonderful food. They also handle substitutions with a smile.
We had a reservation for a Saturday night and was seated promptly at a booth. Very civilized. Service and the food was very good. Dinner was spaced properly. At the end of the meal, the chef came around to every table asking about the food.
The menu covered all the New York classics. I had the breaded clams to start followed by the lobster tails. Two of Our party had the hot appetiser for 2 which was the star dish with clams, shrimp, mussels, stuffed eggplant. The lamb cops were fab too. Great knowledgeable staff and a lively dining room created a nice ambience. Wonderful... More
Yet another visit and still excellent. Why not return with the service and food remaining excellent? This trip we ate baby lamb chops, Mako shark, along with a chocolate crème brulee. All were great!! Service by Kathy was fantastic! Highly recommended.
This place has been around for many years. It is right across the street from the Firehouse. There is a large full service bar seperate from the restaurant. The restaurant is somewhat small, but has a party room. The food was excellent, the filet perfectly done. The servers were friendly but there was confusion (on their part) as to who... More
Went to Peppercorns Restaurant in Hicksville with friends. We all ordered the Prix Fixe Dinner. Our meal consisted of choice of soup or salad. I opted for the Caesar salad which was tastefully dressed. My friends soups were tasty and warm. We all ordered the fillet mignon, medium well, and were pleasantly surprised at the tenderness and tastiness of the... More
If we had been blindfolded we couldn't have guessed what we were eating. Lobster bisque, however, was outstanding. Prime rib, potatoes and vegetables totally lacked flavor. Hadn't been there in years and went back based on a friends recommendation. Won't go back again. The place was so dark I had to hold the candle up to the menu to read... More
