We stayed there for one night with my fiancé, just after getting engaged, and the owner left a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge to say congratulations, which we thought was adorable. Even though the bungallows are very close to the water, you dont get the view on the bay. Which we thought a bit disapointing to start with.... More

We were a party of 6, all excited for a good night out and went on recommendation of others. Very disappointing crab bisque, which is actually imitation crab. Calamari smelled bad, fried oysters overcooked. We were given what seemed like a communion wafer saturated in oil as bread, a loaf cost $2.50! A seafood pot pie consisted of tiny salad... More

I can't say how much I enjoyed the bread here. It was amazing. In fact, Everything about this spot was amazing. Our server was attentive and provided excellent service. We and my boyfriend shared calamari as an appetizer and both enjoyed the sesame tune as our entree.

We enjoyed a quiet relaxing dinner. Food choices were unique and delicious. It was nice to be away from the hoopla of t he usual Hampton scene. Service was very nice and friendly. Notable are the pictures on stairs of Paris designs!

The setting for this restaurant is beautiful. It's right on the bay with a great view. Unfortunately, the food is very mediocre. The "chocolate salad" was very good, and crab bisque was loaded with crab. The crustacean pot pie tasted as though the seafood and the vegetables were frozen (peas and carrots? Nothing more original?), the sesame tuna was ordinary,... More

Our nicest outdoor meal of our vacation, sitting on the outdoor porch, enjoyed the beautiful bay view. Superbly attended by the wait staff. The menu focuses on local, fresh ingredients and attempts creative preparations. The chocolate topped green salad was interesting but I felt the chocolate chunks were an odd combination with the greens. We enjoyed but not wowed by... More

we went for brunch just a few hours ago. Ordered lobster BLT and it was not lobster but artificial crab legs - the dressing was very good so at first I didn't realize it was the artificial crab legs. Pita chips soggy that were served with it. My husband had crab eggs benedict - he thought hollandaise sauce was from... More

It would seem that throughout the off-season Inn Spot does regional dinners from various countries. In this instance the country was Texas. Unique menu nice we served by attentive staff. Party of four we all had different entrées. Dinner was enjoyed by all.

Went to the Inn Spot by the Bay with my boyfriend for a weekend stay in the Hamptons. Got set up in one of their cute and romantic villas. First thing we noticed was the amazing view of the sunset that you could see from their back deck and lawn. When we view we knew we had to have dinner... More

Description
The Inn Spot On The Bay serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cheffes take turns at the stove, Cheffe Pamela is at the helm for breakfast & lunch, and then Cheffe Colette takes over for dinner. Part of the appeal, and what has made The Inn Spot so successful, is the fact that everything is made from scratch. The cheffes mantra is to use as much local produce and fare as possible. There are herbs, heirloom tomatoes and vegetables planted all around the restaurant property. The blueberries, rhubarb, quince and many other goodies come from Cheffe Pamela's family garden a few blocks away.
