We stopped in to this beautiful space with high hopes, to mixed results. The staff, while friendly, seemed overwhelmed by their responsibilities. We decided to eat at the bar -- maybe that's why it took over an hour to get our appetizers, then another hour for the entrees? During our long wait between courses, staring at the sauce on our... Deb, I'm am so sorry about the long wait and bread. I am a little bit confused about the $7 charge as we don't charge for bread. Maybe the charge could have been for something else? Either way, I am sorry about the bitter taste. I do hope you'll give us another chance. See you soon, Michelle Steinel Assistant General... More

Had an enjoyable bite after a terrific tour of the distillery and a tasting of gin, apple vodka, and several varieties of bourbon. Enjoyed the tartine with prosciutto, fig, and onion. Portions were quite large as well.

The TuthillHouse is a wonderful place to be. Vibrant atmosphere, beautiful surrounding, friendly waiters. We got a seat outside on the patio, it was just gorgeous. They had a problem in the kitchen (it was very hot), and so we waited more than 1 hour for our food. The quality was not according to our expectations.

We were attending the Corn Flower Festival at Tuthilll Farm, but it was way too hot and humid to eat outside at the food trucks, so we headed for the air conditioning at Tuthill House. What a fabulous renovation they have done there. The vibe is sophisticated country with indoor and outdoor seating. A gorgeous venue with friendly service and... More

Terribly disappointed! Botched reservation, inordinate wait time for food, which was fairly tasteless and woefully inadequate (3 scallops for $24: come on!!!), and inattentive (albeit pleasant) wait staff. We were referred by staff at our hotel, and have suggested to them that they should be wary about doing so again. Waste of almost $100!!!

We went to Tuthillhouse at the Mill on a Saturday night for a light dinner and drinks. I think this place would have gotten an "Average" rating from me but the scenery here is so beautiful and the staff was very friendly, that I'll give them the "Very Good" rating. We made a reservation, but the place didn't look packed.... More

This place wants to be gourmet, charges like it's gourmet, but the experience falls flat. The pros: -Beautiful atmosphere, especially outside. -Our server, Gianni, was great and the hostesses were friendly. -My friends had cocktails called Snake in the Coconut Grove and Ceasefire. They were tasty and well composed, complex and special. -My friend liked his charcuterie board, and his... More

We lunched before taking the distillery tour. My portobello sandwich was good. My wife's pork BLT was awful. It was a portion of fat served on a sandwich. The waitress brought a portion of coleslaw to compensate for the awful sandwich and gave me a credit for her meal. Her service was professional so I tipped her for what would... More

We came here for a late lunch on a Sunday. Saturday and Sunday is brunch during the day. The restaurant is in an old mill so there are original wood beams which are very cool. There is a bar in the center and tables around the perimeter of the room. There is outdoor seating. We were placed near one of... More

We visited Tuthill (both the restaurant and the distillery) in late July 2016. After a number of confused road detours around the Shawangunk Wine Trail had caused us to miss every winery we had tried to reach, we finally reached Tuthill in time for a late lunch. What a treat! We lunched entirely on their "tartines" which were nicely done... More
