If you don't get that joke you shouldn't be reading this. The Wayside promotes itself as a typical or genuine Irish pub, pretty much like Coleman's in Tip Hill. Neither are right BUT what they bot offer is a great pub... Once we managed to get into the Wayside, be warned the door lock sticks if you're coming in from... More

Towny bar. Shot and a beer place. Still, has a good Ruben sandwich. Regulars look at you and let you be....nothing fancy.

We didn't have any food here so can't review that - we came here for an after-dinner drink after dining at Tres Primos (the best Mexican restaurant in the area!) The Wayside bar is dark, cozy and welcoming. I am far from a wine snob, but I wasn't expecting this place to have a nice, heavily oaked Chardonnay. However that's... More

On our way from Turning Stone to Geneva, we found this bar in Tripadvisor and took the detour. We were very happy we did! Courtney, the bartender, was awesome and made great Long Beach Ts. She also recommended wineries on the Seneca Wine Trail for us. The menu has great bar food, sandwiches, and burgers. It's worth the trip!!

Good range of food on the menu and had a fairly good meal. It is probably the darkness of the bar that would keep me from returning.

The menu is somewhat limited. I was surprised how few Irish dishes were actually available. Well kept historic building. My only issue was the bathroom smelled horrible. I had a blackened tuna sandwich Cajun style that was very good. Definitely not a destination but if you're in the area try it!

"The Wayside" has been the local gathering place in Elbridge for more than 150 years. While you may have visited in the past - if you haven't been in a while - or have never been - now is the time to go! Under new management within the last few years and the addition of a new Chef in the... More

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Wayside Pub, what culinary delight in this small town. The pub/restaurant is warm, relaxing and inviting similar to a " Cheers" theme but Irish. The food was a welcome delight, I visited on the Friday Fish Fry, raw sea food bar night. Fish was tasty, battered lightly and side of homemade slaw... More
