We were staying in the area for a hockey tournament and were looking for a place to accommodate 25 people. The staff was extremely accommodating to us and even stayed late so we could have a good experience. We ordered the chicken riggies, filet (on...special), calamari and lasagna. All were delicious. Still craving the chicken riggies. Our waitress was AMAZING and handled the hockey boys extremely well. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return!More

The first time.. (but definitely not the last), I’ve discovered authentic Italian on a road trip! Grimaldis, originating 50 yrs ago in Utica, now in Syracuse, run by granddaughter Rita Grimaldi and her talented head chef brother. You truly are in for a treat!! I...felt like I was nestled in an Italian bistro, not only with the warmth of exposed brick and delicious homemade food, but with the personal warmth of the staff. Rita, Robin and Mike were exceptional! You will want to keep going back!!More

The night we dined, the place seemed understaffed or out of synch. Although I enjoyed the meal, I will need to return to see if service is better.

This has been one of my favorite Syracuse restaurants over the last decade. But tonight was a very troubling experience. The waitstaff was always very professional - and one of the highlights of dining at Luna Park. There was only one of the regular waiters...working, the rest were teenage girls who were mostly clueless! The calamari appetizer was excellent- and the only reason for 3 stars! Our entrees were very weak. My Marsala was a skimpy portion, with a side dish of pasta that was just thrown into the bowl which wasn't wiped after. And my companions chicken parmigiana was tough. It appeared as if the oil had not been recently changed. I'm sorry to write this, but I feel it has to be said...More

Been the for lunch, been there for dinner, would go there if they served breakfast. Business, pleasure, you can't miss. Had the Sicilian rigatoni and the pasta carbonara this time. Sadly we were travelling and could not take the boxes. Italian at it's best. Service...outstanding, Alexia. This is the placeMore

We were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to try Grimaldi's as it was cold and nasty and didn't feel like going too far. The menu had a lot of interesting options, not just the usual red sauce stuff. We ordered the Chicken Riggies...which were really interesting, creamy sauce with a bit of a pepper bite! Really good. Also had the ministrone soup, too full for desert. The staff was super friendly and could not have been better. A good sized restaurant, so they could pack a few in. Speaking of, the crowd at the bar was having a good time, so they must have already packed a few in...More

We had dinner here on a Sunday night. The place was busy but we were seated promptly. You are guaranteed an exceptional experience selecting any of the in House specialties. The portions are generous and flavorful. The service was above average. Enjoy one of their...Canollis for dessert. They are worth it.More

I was here for a business dinner with a party of 7. Our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Salmon dinner and substituted some penne pasta for the risotto. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the glaze/sauce was amazing....The pasta was cooked to perfection and the red sauce very flavorful. Our table also shared some calamari and that was really good as well. While in town I ended up having Italian food 3 times and Grimaldi's was by far my favorite!More

I'm not 100% sure but there might be a separate room for a private party. I ate once in the bar and once in the main room/ I thought I saw another area. Give them a call.
