Delicious seafood/fish meals in a small and charming venue. Service is excellent. Not cheap, but well worth having a fine dinner for a special evening.

Fresh seafood catch of the day with great seasonings prepared masterfully. Very pleasant service in a friendly ambiance. This restaurant has been a highlight of Westchester for the last several years. The yellow fin tuna still is my favourite after all these years. Another huge advantage is you can bring your own wine. The whole operation is elegantly done and... More
A modest renovation and enlargement did wonders. A few more tables and you can now wait in a small foyer. Still has the small restaurant charm. Well done! A well curated wine list supports the excellent food choices. Both per glass and per bottle prices are restrained in their mark ups considering the quality, most bottles are under $ 50 with... More
Located in a somewhat industrial-looking stretch next to Route 9 sits what looks like a double-wide trailer although the restaurant claims it to be a former diner. The cramped but tastefully appointed interior means you'll be part of your neighbor's conversation like it or not. However, if your primary concern revolves around what's on the plate you are in for... More
Over rated in our view. Chef is creative, but thin portions at high prices and not much flavor. Also, it is BYOB, which is fine if you know in advance.
Good seafood according to my wife. But we both agree. Their clam chowder is the worst we have ever had, including store bought. Honestly they should be ashamed of their soup and a new englander would be appauled. Watery, very few clams, flavorless. I personally wouldnt go back. Id take the 45 minute ride to city island
Not inexpensive, but the BYOB policy keeps the overall cost within reason, and the quality of the food and service is excellent. Small, seating probably fewer than 25 people total, Ocean House typically has a very good selection of fresh oysters and is known (surprise, surprise) for its seafood. Reservations aren't taken over the phone -- you stop by, leave... More
Interesting place...You have to show up in order to make a reservation for that evening. But, everybody does it...and nobody complains! Personally, I think it's cute and old-school. Besides, who's going to complain about a place that has great seafood, and is a BYO!! Stop complaining and enjoy the wonderful time you're about to have!
I had wanted to try this place for a while, and were lucky enough to go for Mother's day, the place is small but uncluttered, so it feels very spacious. We brought our own wine, there is a small corkage fee, not bad considering that they chilled our wine, had the appropriate glasses and were prompt with refills. to start... More
We went here on a week night as we live in Croton and have seen all the long lines on the weekends. Everything we had was well prepared and tasted wonderful. The service was attentive. I would not go here on a weekend because the seating is too close together. Overall very nice place.
