We had a surprisingly great meal here. The place is quiet and nicely decorated and service was friendly and efficient. The food was quite good and we enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
My friends and I decided to try this place one night while visiting Cooperstown. It's a very nice, quaint, little restaurant. Unfortunately, because they were short of staff we had to wait a while for our food. There were only two people running the whole...restaurant and it was crowded. The good thing is we were seated right away. While seated they brought over a very small bread basket with olive oil for dipping. I skimmed through the menu and decided to order a dish called Ricotta Ravioli. This dish consisted of cheese Ravioli on top of eggplant cutlets and smothered in tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. Interesting concoction. I found this dish very heavy and probably shouldn't have ordered it. The sauce was a very chunky, which I did not like at all. I'm Italian and extremely picky when it comes to good Italian food, and to be honest I wasn't crazy about my meal. My other two friends had spaghetti and meatballs, which they enjoyed. Another friend of mine had chicken marsala. He said it was good, but not fantastic. I guess I was the only one not impressed. I'm not sure if we will be returning to this place, but if we choose to I will be definitely ordering something a lot lighter.More
I visited Nicoletta’s for a business dinner and I was impressed with the atmosphere, food, and service. I had the crab bisque and linguine and clams. White sauce of course. Both items were excellent and yes I think I could have slayed vampires after dinner....The garlic was in full effect. The blackened cod fish special also looked excellent.
I highly recommend Nicoletta’s for business or a personal dinner. I gave Nicoletta’s four stars because they broke my cardinal rule. They did not have Diet Coke. I had to drink Diet Pepsi. Why!!! Why!!!More
While in town to see if the Baseball HOF, was looking for a nice place to have a good meal after a long drive. The person at the desk of our hotel suggested we go here.
Outstanding choice! The food, service and value made this...a truly magnificent experience. Located around the corner from the HOF and 10 minutes from the hotel made it even more of a find.More
Loved our meal at Nicoletta's. The menu prices are very reasonable and the kitchen has a tasty, creative spin on the usual Italian favorites. Food portions were generous. Only drawback was the somewhat rushed and unfriendly waitress. She was the only one working the dining...room and likely had too many tables to cover. Hopefully this was a temporary situation as we come out of the Pandemic and will improve in the future. Still recommend a visit here!More
Had fried artichoke hearts, veal Marsala. Friends had shrimp and scallop special, linguine with clam sauce and berry tort. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was excellent…lovely helpful waiter.I would return to Cooperstown just to eat at this restaurant…definitely 5 stars
We enjoyed the ambiance, service and dining the most out of the Italian restaurants we visited in Cooperstown. Prices were very reasonable. Food portions were authentic and plentiful. We celebrated a birthday weekend in Cooperstown and had a great experience. I had been to the...Hall of Fame several times but there’s so much else to enjoy in Cooperstown..see the Fenimore Art museum.More
