What a huge disappointment!!!!! I bought this afternoon tea for my best friends birthday. It was the worst afternoon tea we have ever had. The sandwiches were awful, not even cut into fingers which I thought was traditional for afternoon tea! Cheap fillings, cheap bread, dry crusts. Fillings were cheese and some kind of pickle, not everyone likes pickle. Awful... More

We loved the ambience and decor of this quaint pub. The staff were friendly and welcoming although a little slow at times. The afternoon tea did not meet my expectations and I do not recommend it. The whole cake stand was poorly presented and quite sparse. The sandwiches were big and very boring. Who wants to go out and have... More

This restaurant environment is comfortable (albeit a little bright), and presents itself as a little fancy (although hardly four- or five-star). Like most places, the biggest let-down is the limited catering for vegetarian requirements. Not exceptional, and not somewhere to travel to for its own sake, but if in the area looking for food of an evening, a good option.

Visited on a groupon deal. Had many of these in other places and have been very pleased with what we have been given. It is an ideal way of creating a good impression for people to go back and spend more money. I wasn't impressed with the tea here. We were brought our cake stand, teapot but I had to... More

Using a Groupon Deal and treating my Mum to an afternoon tea we arrived at this place on a glorious sunny Sunday. The place and the staff were lovely and so was the prosecco. BUT!!!! The actual afternoon tea was totally rubbish, the sandwiches - grated cheese and and some sort of brown relish ... And then ham and tomato... More

Lovely sandwiches, choice of four fillings. Cream, jam and fresh scones each plus selection of small cakes. Plently of tea and coffee. Lovely time had by all just enough for four people. Purchased via Groupon. Well worth the money. Customer service was a little slow but was overall very pleased. Will recommend. Thank you.

Very good choice of menu, from the a la carte to pub classics something for everyone and all budgets The food arrived very hot and plentiful. The staff very friendly especially Setefano who made our evening very enjoyable. Service was also very good. The restaurant is large but has a cosy feel, but there are a few steps from the entrance... Disappointing meal on Thurs evening. Poor quality curry. The rice had been reheated and in doing so had gone dry on top.Curry not homemade a jarred sauce. Steak meal, poor quantity of food considering the cost £17.95. The pudding not worth £5.95. Need more staff the poor waiter was run off his feet.Very slow service.
