Surprisingly unchanged . Not here in 20 years. Mid-western Italian.. not good in NY. Portions adequate but quality and flavor lacking. Illl try them in another 20 years.. Do not waste your time or money.

Located at a great shopping area where you can finish all your shopping and then relax and get a good meal. Wait time is a little long in weekends, but they are very attentive and welcoming. food is always tasty, and drinks have special all the time. Stop by if you are a round, good food and prices.

For a chain, the atmosphere is very good. Service is excellent. Unlimited soup, salad & bread sticks is a nice extra. The breadsticks don’t compare to good garlic knots available at most Italian restaurants. The Pasta Fagioli is very good. The food is good-seems like we always have to ask for extra sauce no matter the dish. I had the tour of Italy- which was good. Chicken cutlet needed extra sauce; my wife enjoyed her shrimp scamp which also needed extra sauce. Overall it’s a good value for the money & I definitely recommend.

Quality has declined since last visit. Pre pandemic they were always just average. But that's what I expect from OG. I can always find something to like. Not this time. Maybe the pandemic has thrown them for a loop, but the food was not even up to their usual middling standards First off, the salad was not fresh. There were no bread sticks available to begin with,?then some were located but they were also not fresh. My ravioli was hard around the edges from being left in the oven to reheat. The meat sauce, while bland, was ok . I'll hesitate to go back, while hoping this was an aberration due to the pandemic.

We do not get to Olive Garden as often as I would like, but we should because I always enjoy their restaurant, the food, service and the atmosphere. Tonight Sam was out waitress. She is such a personable person and took awesome care of our table. Her service was spot on and fast. Timing was perfect too. We started with the giant salad bowl (yum) and their wonderful bread sticks. We ordered appetizers, fried calamari and the Fried stuffed ziti which vane with marinara dressing and alfredo dressing. They were delicious! For dinner, we had the shrimp scampi, fettuccine alfredo and fettuccine alfrefo with shrimp. I went with my favorite, the Tour of Italy which is a chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo and lasagna. Everything tasted delicious, hot and the prions were plenty!!! The chicken cutlet was good but they really should put the cutlet in sauce. Topped with cheese. They just seem to ladle sauce on the top and then place cheese on top. The bottom was bare, no sauce. Dessert we had tiramisu and a chocolate dolce somthing!! This was a mini desert. The Tira Misu was delicious. All in all, the food was delicious, tasty, nice portions and hot. Sam was a terrific waitress, next time I'm in, I'm asking for Sam.

I visited Olive Garden in Centereach last Thursday, November 11, Veterans' Day with my daughter, granddaughter (An Airforce Veteran) and 3 of my 4 great grandchildren. The oldest two are a bit messy, crumbs and ravioli bites on the floor and the baby 6 months old started to cry as she was hungry. The oldest, 4 1/2 decided he wanted to sit on the floor and the 18 month old got tired of sitting in his high chair just before we were ready to leave. Out waiter, Nicholas, could not have been nicer. We grownups kept apologizing for the mess, the noise, etc. and he kept saying do not worry about it, they are children, the are perfect and so on. He made us feel VERY comfortable and at ease. He is a credit to Olive Garden and it was our pleasure to have him as our waiter. And the food was great as always.

They have declined in quality since the pandemic. Food was less than average, and average is what I expect. Nothing seemed "fresh," even the breadsticks were stale. Went to the Bayshore location and it was fine. I hope management reads these reviews.

We frequent this particular Olive Garden because the service is always good, the food is delicious, the place is clean and it's close to where we live. We decided to have dinner here last Monday evening and again, nothing disappointed. However, we would like to give a very special shout-out to our server, Elyse. Elyse was one of the most friendly and attentive servers we've ever encountered. From the moment we sat down she made us feel welcome, was informative, polite and displayed the energy of, not a server, but of a good friend. And the word "no" didn't exist in her vocabulary as everything we asked for was cheerfully afforded us and with a smile. We made sure that before we left, her manager was made aware of what a great personality she had and how comfortable she made us feel while we were in her care. Thank you, Elyse, for a very memorable evening at The Olive Garden. You're the reason we'll be coming back!

So it may not be true Italian cuisine but it is good food. My family enjoys going here mainly for the great salad and breadsticks but their entree portions are always hot and delicious.

We have attended the Olive Garden restaurant three times in the last two months. We first attended a family celebration with 12 people and were amazed at the quality, quantity and variety of food. We have been back twice since and have been even more impressed. Their policy of unlimited soups or salads, coupled with delicious Italian cuisine at very moderate prices are a winner for our budget. The staff are courteous and prompt and always available for more of anything. Highly recommended!

We have stopped coming because no matter if there are many people eating or just a few, we wait for an incredible amount of time to receive service. I also don’t the way the sauce is made. I have never had or made homemade spaghetti sauce with ketchup as an ingredient. This place is not for us.

My husband and I went for a couples night out and it was great. Staff seated us where we could talk as a couple and were attentive to us. I have a lot of allergies and was made not to feel like it was a bother. Made for a relaxing evening. Food was excellent.

Visited yesterday with my granddaughter, grandson in love, and great grandson who is 2 days shy of 17 months and starting to want his own way. He really did not want to stay in his high chair and was a bit fussy but no one complained even when he threw his crayons, bread sticks and grapes on the floor. Then he kept trying to give back to our waiter all the food he decided he did not want. The food was great, I ordered the lunch portion, it was perfect, filing but not SO filing that I wasn't hungry at dinner time. A very nice experience indeed.

The family went on Sunday to celebrate my grandson's birthday we had a very nice time. Our waitress was very nice, paid special attention to my 16 month old great grandson, brought everything we wanted right away, took off the price of the coffee since the 1/2 and 1/2 was sour, brought out a cake with a candle and several other ladies to sing Happy Birthday. A lovely celebration.

I think when people think of the Olive Garden, they think of low quality Italian food. But you have to know the strength of the restaurant you are sitting in. Unlimited soup or salad and bread sticks (that look more like submarines) is a strength. Simple Chicken parm, or Alfredo...that's what they do best. And when 3 adults sit down and eat a full dinner with wine and the bill is $60? Come on! Ya gotta know this is a great go to for a nice simple meal that you will not be paying interest on!
