Nice atmosphere outside, under a tent or umbrella by the lake; always find good food, drinks and someone to spend time talking with since this is one of the best hot spots in Canandaigua for the summer and into the fall.

Like the atmosphere, the lake, the outdoor seating. Bartenders are friendly . Great place to have a drink in a tiki bar atmosphere on the water.

After waiting 15 minutes for drinks the server started off by giving us the wrong drinks. Not a big deal. Although after waiting 50 minutes for our server to come back for our food order we left. They had 4 or 5 servers on and they were not busy. We ended up closing with the bartender who then had the... More

We were tipped off that there was an nice, informal dining spot right on Lake Canandaigua by the nice folk at the NY Wine and Culinary Center and we worked our way through the cozy lobby of the Inn on the Lake out onto the lawn leading down to the lake. Sure enough, we spotted the Sandbar, with it's festive... More
