My husband and I decided to try Tra Di Noi for lunch because of a recommendation. We ordered a salad to share and 2 main courses. When the salad came to the table, I asked for a little grated cheese to have with my portion...More

You are quite correct in that a few teaspoonfuls of cheese marred what might otherwise might have been a great meal. We've spoken with our staff and hope you will give us another try.

For those that write excellent you don't know excellent The food is being masked with a heavy raw garlic that is quite bitter. We tried several plates and appetizers and main courses. We also found the use of mozzarella as with the Capreee salads straight...More

People come from all over to shop and sample some of the finest Italian products in the area. We are proud to advertise that we use only products from these local merchants and have been doing so since we opened.

The average food would have been tolerable if the service was better. Meals are a la carte- even chicken parm is not served with a pasta side. We ordered a pasta side which was never delivered but was charged on our bill. Waitress never checked...More

So sorry your experience was not an enjoyable one. I'm not sure if you came for lunch or dinner. If it was lunch, you are quite correct in that there are no 'side's with entrees as this is considered to be a somewhat lighter meal...More

A small cozy spot which has become one of our favorite restaurants in the city. Took the wife to celebrate her birthday and we were not disappointed. Had the Prosciutto, Melon and Figs as an appetizer, fresh and sweet. She had the Herb Crusted Brazino...More

Food was unimpressionable. Lasagna tasted worst than frozen food version. Service was poor. Staff was unattentive. Will never eat there again!!! Definitely not worth the price!!!!

Very simple short menu of typical fare.. veal parm, veal saltimbocca, etc. (but chicken parm not on menu???) No sausage dishes at all. My veal parm was certainly low average at best. With six people and no one bowled over by their food. Decent wine...More

So sorry we did not measure up for you. You are certainly correct in that our menu is small. We strive for the ultimate in quality and freshness and the best way to do that is to keep the menu small with lots of daily...More

This was our first visit to Tra Di Noi, but we were with another couple who have eaten there on many occasions & were familiar with the menu. We started with an appetizer of "Mussels Posillipo", which was shared by the table. One order was...More

Really superb restaurant - old school New York Italian. Not just a neighborhood place, a destination. The Burrata is best in class - creamy and lovely - get it. I had the Chicken Scapariello - one of the best versions of this dish I've ever...More
