Been getting our bread there for years, always good. Now they also offer Bavarian style Pretzels or "Brezen" pretty much the best this side of the Atlantic. They don't quite match the Munich originals but are pretty good renditions. The Bavarians usually slice them open, butter them and munch them with a cup of coffee in morning but feel free... More
Thanks so much for your excellent review and your appreciation of our Prezels in Boiceville! Those little beauties are very close to my heart and we tried very hard to make them in the Bavarian tradition. So glad to hear that you enjoyed! Have a great day and hope to see you in Boiceville again, soon! Sharon More
The best bread anywhere! All organic and fresh from the oven. You can buy this bread by the loaf and have it cut to order. Serving full breakfasts, and lunch with a variety of sandwiches and soups, Delicious bakery items available from cookies to cakes.
I stopped in to buy a loaf and ended up staying for lunch. Their sandwich selections were really interesting and the quality was high for a reasonable price. I had a cauliflower sandwich that was amazing and my friend raved about her salad. They also had soups and pastries. The service was helpful and quick. The seating area is small,... More

Located right off route 28 in Boiceville, next to the Boiceville Inn, this bakery serves great breakfast sandwiches or platters, to stay or to go. Great artisanal breads, baked on the premises; we enjoyed the cauliflower, arugula, egg and cheese sandwich. Moderate prices, starting at $4 and up. Great friendly service. Seating inside or outside. Parking right outside.
had 3 people in party ordering bagels and coffee. very few tables inside and tight space for ordering. food was good, but better as take out.
Hello There! Thanks for your review and comments! We are planning to expand the seating area this winter because folks keep telling us that they want more space! Hope to see you soon! Sharon More
Came across this bakery/café unexpectedly. We had some of their pizzas, coffee and took cookies for the road. Everything was absolutely delicious. Will make sure to stop in next time we're in the area.
Thanks so much for your excellent review! Hope to see you back soon Sharon More
For decades, we have visited Bread Alone, back to the day when it was truly: bread alone. Yes, in those days they only baked bread. Now, do yourself a favor and sample amazing breakfast treats (chocolate chip scones and croissants are favorites) delicious soups and sandwiches for lunch...and the best pastries, cookies, pies ,cakes and more! Not a dieters destination,... More
The correct address is 3962 Rte. 28 Boiceville, NY. We stumbled upon this wonderful little restaurant/bakery and I'm glad we did. We had a sesame seed bagel egg, gruyere cheese and bacon sandwich. I decided l would leave off their sauce. We loved it and returned to eat lunch there again 2 weeks later.
Delicious and always different. The menu is seasonal and there are daily specials so it does not get boring. I stop here a few times a week for a bite to eat, a fresh latte, and a nice fresh baked bread to bring home to share with my family. They never disappoint.
