What a beautiful place to overnight!! Ideal place to stay if visiting the area or one of the events like the Olive festival. Stayed in the "Chardony" room and everything so neat and cozy! The view of the mountains fantastic!! Real value for money and thx to Thereza for your friendliness and professional service!! Will definitely visit again!

Called in for some breakfast and got a pleasant surprise. What a gem friendly with delicious food. Our waiter (I think his name is Werner) took time to welcome us and explain various things on the menu. The owner and chef came out and greeted us at the table. Love this place will be back as soon as possible

I have seen Du Vlei adverts on several occasions, but have never had the opportunity to stop and see. What a lovely refreshing breakfast we had as a family. Like a little oasis with warm welcoming staff. If you don't want breakfast, opt for the freshly baked bread, if you are lucky enough to find one. The bread is delicious... More

We stopped in here with the intention of just having a quick look and ended up eating a really wholesome family-style meal of very good quality. We sat outside on the 'stoep' in the shade but with a gentle breeze blowing to keep us cool. We found the meal a little pricey but it is still well worth stopping off... More

Spent the weekend in the tiny town for a friend's wedding. Had Sunday brunch at this restaurant. It is conveniently located on the main road, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The prices for the portions and quality of the food was a bit much though. Not much else to choose from, so had to spend the money.

This was my third visit to Du Vlei, and I was extremely disappointed - to the extent that I will definitely not be back. We waited a long time before even being served. We ordered drinks. Then we waited a long time before orders were taken for our food. Then we waited over an hour for the food to arrive,... More

Visiting Du Vlei Farm Stall for breakfast is a must for everyone. It is situated just outside Wellington in the quaint little hamlet of Hermon. It is the perfect distance from Cape Town for a breakfast run by motorbike on a Sunday morning. The owners are friendly and know many of their patrons by name, because this is a place... More

Myself and a group of friends booked here during one of our wine tasting tours and were very pleasantly surprised. Very welcoming family and very eager to please and make your visit memorable. Food is all home-make and nice decent portions and really tasty. Nice farm-style atmosphere and very country like. A must to try.
