Good welcome and pleasant waitress with speedy drinks service. Homemade chicken schnitzel was very good as was the lamb burger.

We had 2 meals at this local bistro. The owners are really friendly and helpful, great service, hearty and very tasty meals! Buy a selection of homemade products, produce and wine in the shop whilst you wait for your meal. We will definitely be back!!

We went with friends and had a great eve out. The atmosphere of the restaurant is intimate with fairy lights all around and a fireplace. We had the lamb curry (special) and everybody had empty plates at the end. We paired it with red noble savage wine, which was a pricy bottle, but an easy to drink boutique wine

The food was really good, the kids loved their meals also (nice shoestring fries & fish fingers / burger) - we had a lovely lamb curry and pork chops with peanutbutter sauce. Unfortunately when the bill came VAT was added to the total. Nowhere on the menu it was stated that prices were excl. Vat. We consulted with the manager,... More

We stopped at Dullstroom on our way to Johannesburg and after visiting a pancake restaurant on the other side of the road, which we found expensive and restrictive we stumbled across Pickles and Things. We sat on the veranda and had a very nice lunch of burgers and chicken strips accompanied by a tasty wine. The staff were very helpful... More

This is one of my most favourite places to stop while passing through Dullstroom. I am mad about homemade relishes and pickled goodies. Pickles and Things has a seperate area stocked with all sorts of wonderful assortments from sweet to savoury. The restaurant itself makes a mean burger and the nicest cake for an after treat. The coffee is also... More

We had the special Goulash for the day. It was very flavourful with soft juicy meat and nice spices. It was a little bit too expensive in our opinion but delicious to eat. Very friendly service as well. will eat there again.

The smoked salmon trout with scrambled eggs was delicious. Very nice menu and great food at very reasonable prices.
